1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
An das Lautsprecher-Schaltpult lassen sich bis zu 10
Lautsprecherpaare (4 – 8 Ω) anschließen und einzeln
oder in jeder gewünschten Kombination einschalten.
Das Schaltpult ist mit zwei Eingängen zum Anwählen
von zwei Verstärkern bzw. Receivern ausgestattet und
kann Leistungen von bis zu 2 x 250 WMAX schalten. Es
ist speziell für den Einschub in ein 482-mm-Rack (19")
vorgesehen. Dazu werden 2 HE (= 88 mm) benötigt.
Lautsprecherleitungen können elektrische Störungen auffangen. Darum sollten sie immer im Abstand
von 1 – 2 m zu Störquellen (z. B. Dimmer, Lichtschalter) verlegt werden.

1 Applications
The speaker switch box allows connection of up to 10
pairs of speakers (4 – 8 Ω) which can be switched on
individually or in any desired combination. The switch
box is provided with two inputs for selecting two
amplifiers or receivers and is able to handle a music
power of up to 2 x 250 WMAX. It is specially designed
for insertion into a 482 mm (19") rack. 2 rack spaces
(= 88 mm) are required for this purpose.

Speaker cables are susceptible to electrical interference. Therefore, always lay them at a distance of
1 to 2 m from sources of interference (e. g. dimmers,
light switches).

1) Insert the switch box into a 482 mm rack or cabinet
and fasten it with screws.
The unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range: 0 – 40 °C).

2) Bis zu 10 Lautsprecher-Paare (Impedanz 4 – 8 Ω)
an die Klemmen 1 – 10 anschließen (siehe Abb.).
Alle Anschlußklemmen lassen sich für eine einfachere Handhabung von der Leiterplatte abziehen
und nach dem Anschluß wieder aufstecken. Beim
Anschluß die Stereokanäle nicht vertauschen, d. h.
jeweils den linken Kanal immer mit dem entsprechenden Klemmenpaar „L-L+“ verbinden. Außerdem auf die richtige Polung achten, d. h. die gekennzeichnete Ader der Lautsprecherkabel immer

3 Inbetriebnahme

3) Die Signalquelle (Verstärker bzw. Receiver) nur
anschließen, wenn diese ausgeschaltet ist! Die
Lautsprecherausgänge der Signalquelle über Lautsprecherkabel mit den Klemmen SOURCE 1 verbinden. Ein zweites Gerät läßt sich an die Klemmen
SOURCE 2 anschließen.
Die Ausgangsimpedanz des Verstärkers bzw.
des Receivers darf nicht mehr als 4 Ω betragen,
sonst kann er beschädigt werden!
4) Alle angeschlossenen Geräte einschalten, und mit
dem Schalter SOURCE die Signalquelle wählen.
5) Mit den Schaltern SPEAKER alle gewünschten
Lautsprecher einschalten. Durch die internen
Schutzwiderstände ist gewährleistet, daß die Gesamtimpedanz nicht unter 4 Ω sinkt.

be connected to the terminals SOURCE 2.
To prevent damage to the amplifier or to the
receiver, its output impedance must not exceed
4 Ω!
4) Switch on all units connected and select the signal
source with the SOURCE switch.
5) Switch on all desired speakers with the SPEAKER
switches. The internal protective resistors ensure
that the total impedance does not fall below 4 Ω.
2) Connect up to 10 pairs of speakers (impedance 4 to
8 Ω) to the terminals 1 to 10 (see fig.). To facilitate
handling, all terminals can be removed from the
printed circuit board and can be inserted again after
the connection has been made. Do not confuse the
stereo channels when connecting, i. e. always connect the left channel to the corresponding terminal
pair “L-L+”. Furthermore, observe the correct polarity, i. e. always connect the coded core of the speaker cables to the corresponding outer terminal “+”.

Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré du service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine de recyclage adaptée.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce pupitre permet de brancher jusqu’à 10 paires de
haut-parleurs (4 – 8 Ω) et de les allumer séparément
ou selon un ordre souhaité. Le pupitre est équipé de
deux entrées pour sélectionner deux amplificateurs ou
récepteurs et peut supporter des puissances de 2 x
250 WMAX au plus. Il est spécialement conçu pour une
installation en rack 482 mm (19"), 2 unités (88 mm)
sont nécessaires.
3 Mise en fonctionnement
1) Placez le pupitre dans un rack 482 mm ou dans un
boîtier et vissez-le.
2 Conseils d’utilisation
Le pupitre répond à la norme européenne 89/336/
CEE relative à la compatibilité électromagnétique.

2) Connectez jusqu’à 10 paires de haut-parleurs
(impédance 4 – 8 Ω) aux bornes 1 – 10 (voir
schéma); toutes les bornes peuvent être retirées de
la platine du circuit imprimé pour une manipulation
simplifiée et être remises en place une fois les
branchements effectués. Lors du branchement,
veillez à ne pas échanger les canaux stéréo, c’està-dire reliez le canal gauche toujours à la paire correspondante “L-L+”. En outre, veillez à respecter la
polarité: reliez toujours le conducteur repéré du

Les câbles haut-parleurs peuvent intercepter des interférences électriques. Il est conseillé de les placer

Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Il selettore per altoparlanti permette il collegamento di
un massimo di 10 coppie di altoparlanti (4 – 8 Ω) e la
loro selezione singola o in qualsiasi combinazione. Il
selettore è equipaggiato con due ingressi per selezionare due amplificatori o receiver e supporta potenze
fino a 2 x 250 WMAX. È previsto specialmente per l’inserimento in un rack di 482 mm (19") dove richiede
due unità di altezza (= 88 mm).
3 Messa in funzione
1) Inserire il selettore in un rack o un contenitore di
482 mm e avvitarlo.
2 Avvertenze
Quest’apparecchio corrisponde alla direttiva CE
89/336/CEE sulla compatibilità elettromagnetica.

2) Si possono collegare fino a 10 coppie di altoparlanti
(impedenza 4 – 8 Ω) con i morsetti 1 – 10 (vedi illustrazione). Per facilitare le manovre, tutti i morsetti
possono essere staccati dal circuito stampato e poi
rimessi. Non scambiare i canali stereo durante il
collegamento: collegare il canale di sinistra sempre
con i rispettivi morsetti “L-L+”. Rispettare anche la
corretta polarità: collegare il conduttore contrassegnato sempre con il morsetto esterno “+”.
Usare l’apparecchio solo all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo dall’umidità e dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
I cavi degli altoparlanti possono captare disturbi
elettrici. Perciò conviene sistemarli sempre a
1 – 2 mt. da fonti di disturbo (p. es. dimmer, interruttori della luce).

3) Ne connectez la source de signal (amplificateur / récepteur) que lorsqu’elle est déconnectée. Reliez les
sorties haut-parleur de la source de signal aux bornes SOURCE 1 via les câbles haut-parleur. Un autre appareil peut être relié aux bornes SOURCE 2.
L’impédance de sortie de l’amplificateur / du récepteur ne doit pas dépasser 4 Ω, sinon il pourrait être endommagé.
4) Allumez tous les appareils reliés et sélectionnez la
source de signal avec le sélecteur SOURCE.
5) Avec les interrupteurs SPEAKER, allumez les hautparleurs souhaités. Les résistances de protection
internes assurent que l’impédance totale ne passe
pas sous la valeur de 4 Ω.

3) Collegare la sorgente (amplificatore o receiver)

4) Accendere tutti gli apparecchi collegati e selezionare la sorgente con il selettore SOURCE.
5) Con il selettore SPEAKER attivare tutti gli altoparlanti desiderati. Le resistenze interne garantiscono
che l’impedenza totale non vada sotto i 4 Ω.
