TEACHING EXPERIENCE: Christophe Koller gave courses and has teaching experiences on the following
topics: Comparative Public administrations , Institutional changes, reforms and federalism, State activities
localization (StandortCH), Cartography and public data visualization, Criminal statistics and public organization,
Swiss economic and social history.
Dr. KOLLER HAS CLOSE INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL COLLABORATION with scientists from
Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Norway; with authorities of the 26 cantons (cancelors), many communes
and Federal Departements (research and mandates).
RESEARCH TOPICS AND SCIENTIC ACTIVIY: 1) Public administration in comparative perspective; 2)
Organization and reforms of swiss political-administrative system; 3) Role of the State in economic and social
developpement; 4) Cartography and webmapping (interactive Staatsatlas project in collaboration with CI-Unil;
& Meteor with C. Kaiser); 5) Database (in collaboration with ComputedBy, gov.data and statistical analysis ; 6)
Webdesign /Webmaster (BADAC, ESEHA).
1 Dr. KOLLER has published about 80 articles, books and working paper on multidisciplinary topics. The last
works and research dealing with PA and governance are mentioned above. C. Koller published, develops and
he’s responsible for the public interactive BADAC-database (published in french and german).
