Installing / Replacing Batteries

1.
Locate the battery compartment on the back side of the unit.
2.
Open the battery compartment.
3.
Insert 1 “AAA” size battery (not included) into the battery compartment. Make sure that the battery is installed according to the
correct polarity marking in the bottom of the compartment.
4.
Replace the battery compartment door.

Wireless Temperature Sensor
The Wireless Temperature Sensor comes with a battery already installed at the factory. Should the
battery need to be replaced:
1.
Open the Sensor Unit by removing the battery lid by unscrewing the sensor battery cover.
2.
Remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a lithium button cell “CR2032”
3.
When inserting the new battery make sure that the positive “+” terminal of the battery is upwards.
4.
Replace the battery lid.
BE CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING BATTERIES INTO THE MAIN UNIT OR WIRELESS
TEMPERATURE SENSOR. INSTALLING THE INCORRECT BATTERIES OR REVERSING THE
POLARITIES COULD CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGES TO THE PRODUCT.
Easy to Use (Operating instructions) Preset Mode
1.
Insert the Wireless Temperature Sensor into your opened bottle of wine.
2.
Turn on the Remote/Receiver and wireless temperature probe by:
a. Turning the switch to the “ON” position on the Wireless Temperature Sensor
b. Pressing the “POWER” button on the Main Unit
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE WIRELESS SIGNAL LED IS ILLUMINATED. SEE TROUBLESHOOTING
SECTION IF THE LIGHT IS NOT ILLUMINATED.
3.
Set the Wine Setting according to the type of opened wine bottle by pressing the “SELECT” button. Keep pressing the select button until the correct setting appears on the LCD & screen.

The LCD will display the temperature:
a. The single line will indicate the current temperature of the wine
b. The box on the temperature display will indicate the ideal temperature based on the setting
selected in step 3.

Now read the color of the LED lights
SOLID RED:
Either your wine is too Cool or too Warm.
TOO WARM: if the single line is above the box your wine is too warm
and it needs to be chilled. We recommend chilling your wine by placing
it in an ice bucket, wine cellar, or your refrigerator.
TOO COOL: if the single line is below the box your wine is too cool
and needs to be placed in a warmer environment to warm up. We do
not recommend heating your wine. Please let your wine stand in room
temperatures or in a wine cellar to warm your wine.
FLASHING GREEN: Your wine is within ± 1°C (± 1.8°F) of the ideal serving temperature.
SOLID GREEN: Means that your wine is as the perfect temperature based on the Perfect Temp system and it’s ready to serve.
LASTLY REMEMBER TO SHUT OFF THE WIRELESS TEMPERATURE SENSOR BY
TURNING THE POWER SWITCH TO “OFF” & THE MAIN REMOTE/RECEIVER UNIT
BY PRESSING THE “POWER” BUTTON.
Modifying the Default Temperature Settings (ADVANCED SETTINGS)
The Main Remote/Receiver comes pre-programmed at the factory with suggested serving temperatures
for Reds, Rosés, Whites, and Champagnes. These settings can be modified if you wish to suit your
needs.

Your custom setting
To modify the default temperature setting:
1. Turn on the Remote/Receiver unit by pressing the “POWER” button
2.
Select the Preset you wish to modify by pressing the “SELECT” button.
3.
Turn off the Remote/Receiver unit by pressing the “POWER” button momentarily. Then press
and hold the “POWER” button until both the Red LED & Preset Temperature Bar (Thick Line)
start flashing.
4.
Once flashing press the “SELECT” button to lower the Preset Temperature Setting by 1°C
(~1.8°F). You can cycle to the desired temperature by continuing to press the select button.
Once you have selected the desired temperature do not touch any button for approximately 5
seconds. The Red LED & Preset Temperature box will stop flashing to confirm that your setting
has been saved.
*Note: If you remove or replace the batteries the temperature settings will default back to the factory
settings and your custom settings will be lost.
Troubleshooting
In this section you can find solutions to common problems by trying the suggestions below.

The REMOTE/RECEIVER temperature display is not showing any
information
• The unit is off, press the power button
• The batteries are dead, replace the batteries (see
battery changing procedure above)
The unit is on but is not registering
the temperature of your wine
• The wireless temperature sensor is off, turn it on by
moving the power switch to “ON” position
• The wireless temperature sensor is more than 6.0
meters (20 feet) away from the main unit.
• The wireless temperature sensor battery is dead,
replace it (see battery changing procedure above)
Cleaning Instructions
1.
Rinse the Wireless Temperature Sensor under cold tap water
IMPORTANT: RINSE ONLY THE STAINLESS STEEL SECTION OF THE WIRELESS TEMPERATURE SENSOR. IF THE TOP PORTION OF THE SENSOR IS EXPOSED TO LIQUIDS DAMAGE
TO THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR WILL OCCUR.
2.
If necessary clean the REMOTE/RECEIVER unit with using a damp cloth.
WARNING: DO NOT SUBMERGE THE REMOTE/RECEIVER IN WATER. DOING SO WILL
PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE DEVICE.

WARRANTY
Should you experience difficulty; you are protected under the provisions of this warranty. This product is warranted against
manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship in normal use for the period of 1 (one) year from the date of purchase
by the original user, and is conditional upon the unit being installed and used as directed in the instruction manual. Our
obligation under this warranty should be limited to the repair or replacement, at our option the exchange of any product
which shows evidence of a manufacturing defect within the warranty period. Replacement parts, furnished in connection
with this warranty shall be warranted for a period equal to the unexpired portion of the original equipment warranty.
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
This warranty applies to the product from the original date of purchase at retail. Therefore, the owner must provide a copy
of the original, dated bill of sale. No warranty service will be performed without a bill of sale. Transportation to and from the
service depot is the responsibility of the owner.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty is extended to products purchased and used in Canada and USA from an authorized dealer. This warranty
shall not apply to appearance or accessory items including but not limited to: cabinet, cabinet parts, knobs, batteries. This
warranty shall, in addition, not apply to damages due to handling, transportation, unpacking, set-up, installation, customer
adjustments that are covered in the instruction book, repair or replacement of parts supplied by other than the authorized
service depot, any malfunction or failure caused by or resulting from abnormal environmental conditions, improper
unauthorized service, improper maintenance, modifications or repair by the consumer, abuse, misuse, neglect, accident,
fire, flood, or other Acts of God, and incorrect line voltage. This Appliance product is only warranted to the original retail
purchaser. This warranty becomes void in the event of commercial or rental use. This warranty becomes void in the
event serial numbers are altered, defaced or removed. In no event shall Kaidiem or its dealers be liable for special or

Installation ou remplacement des piles

1. Repérez le compartiment à piles sur le dessous de l’appareil.
2. Ouvrez le compartiment à piles.
3. Insérez une pile «AAA» (non comprises) dans le compartiment
à piles. Assurez-vous que la polarité indiquée sur le fond du
compartiment est respectée.
4. Remettez en place le couvercle du compartiment à piles.

Wireless Temperature Sensor
Le capteur de température sans fil est fourni avec une pile déjà installée en usine. S’il fallait
remplacer la pile du capteur:
1. Ouvrez le capteur en dévissant le couvercle de la pile.
2. Enlevez la pile déchargée et remplacez-la par une pile bouton au lithium de type
«CR2032».
3. Lorsque vous insérez la nouvelle pile, assurez-vous que le terminal positif « + » est vers le
haut.
4. Replacez le couvercle de la pile.
PRENEZ GARDE LORS DE L’INSTALLATION DES PILES DANS L’APPAREIL. SI L’ON
UTILISE UN TYPE DE PILES QUI NE CONVIENT PAS OU SI L’ON OMET D’OBSERVER
LES POLARITÉS INDIQUÉES, CELA PEUT CAUSER DES DOMMAGES PERMANENTS AU
PRODUIT.
Facile à utiliser (mode d’emploi)
1.
Insérez le capteur de température sans fil dans votre bouteille de vin débouchée.
2. Mettez en marche le capteur de température et le receveur:
a. en tournant le commutateur deu capteur de température sans fil en position <ON> et
b. en appuyant sur le bouton <POWER> sur le receveur.
NOTE:

Assurez-vous que le lumière de l’indicateur de signal <WIRELESS SIGNAL> est
allumé.
Choisissez le réglage qui correspond à la bouteille de vin débouchée en appuyant sur le
bouton « SELECT ».

L’afficheur LCD affichera la température de la façon suivante :
a. La ligne simple indiquera la température actuelle du vin
b. Une boite indiquera la température idéale en fonction du réglage effectué à l’étape 3.
5.
Vérifiez maintenant la couleur des voyants à DEL
ROUGE CONSTANTE: Votre vin est soit trop froid, soit trop chaud..
TROP CHAUD: Si la ligne est dessus de la boite votre vin est
trop chaud. Placez votre vin dans seau à glace, le refrigérateur
ou une cave à vin.
TOO FROID: Si la ligne est dessous la boite votre vind est trop
froid. il doit être placé dans un endroit plus chaud. Nous ne
recommandons pas que votre vin soit chauffé. Veuillez laisser le
reposer à la température ambiante pour qu’il puisse tiédir.
VERTE CLIGNOTANT: La température de votre vin est à ± 1 °C (± 1,8 °F) de la température idéale à laquelle il devrait être servi..
VERTE CONTSTANTE: La température de votre vin est idéale; votre vin est donc prêt à
être dégusté..
POUR TERMINER, N’OUBLIEZ PAS DE TOURNER À « OFF » LE COMMUTATEUR DU
CAPTEUR DE TEMPÉRATURE SANS FIL AINSI QUE D’APPUYER SUR LE BOUTON «
POWER » SUR LE CONTROLE.
Comment modifier les températures préréglé (usage avancé)
L’unité de controle est programmé à l’usine avec des température suggérés our le vin rouge,
rosé, blanc et champagne. Il est possible de les changer à vos préférence personelles.

Pour modifier les température prérglé :
1. Allumé l’unité de controle en poussant the bouton “POWER”
2.
Choississez le préréglage que vous voulez changer en poussant le bouton “SELECT”.
3.
Fermer l’unité de controle pour un instant en poussant le bouton POWER. Quand vous
ralumé l’unité de controle gargez le boutton POWER presser j’usqu’à temp que la
lumière ROUGE DEL et la boite qui indique la temperature clignoter.
4.
Poussez le bouton “SELECT” et la température reglé changera de 1°C (~1.8°F). Pressez le bouton “SELECT” jusqu’à temp que vous avez la température désirer. Rendu
à la température désiré ne toucher pas pour 5 seconds pour sauve garder. La lumière
rouge et la boite qui indique la température arrêteront de clignoter.
*Note: Si vous enlever ou changer les piles les préréglages retourneront au température
programmé à l’usine et les nouveau températures seront perdues .

• Le capteur de température sans fil est éteint. Mettez-le
en marche en mettant le commutateur à la position « ON »
• Le capteur de température sans fil est à une distance
de plus de 6 mètres (20 pieds) de l’unité de controle.
• La pile du capteur de température sans fil est
déchargée. Remplacez-la (voir ci-dessus la procédure
de remplacement des piles)
Nettoyage
1.
Rincez le capteur de température sans fil à l’eau froide du robinet.
IMPORTANT : NE RINCEZ QUE LA PARTIE MÉTALLIQUE DU CAPTEUR DE TEMPÉRATURE SANS FIL. SI LA PARTIE SUPÉRIEURE DU CAPTEUR ENTRE EN CONTACT
AVEC UN LIQUIDE, LE CAPTEUR DE TEMPÉRATURE SERA ENDOMMAGÉ.
2.
S’il y a lieu, nettoyez l’unité controle avec un chiffon imbibé d’une solution de savon
doux. Essuyez l’appareil avec un chiffon humide.
