Over the past 15 years Fort Severn and other First Nations in Northwestern Ontario have worked with the Keewaytinook Okimakanak (KO) tribal council and strategic partners to build

Prof. Charlotte Brunsdon, Film and Television Studies, University of Warwick
Charlotte Brunsdon's main research interests are in the cultural and aesthetic histories of audiovisual media. Within this broad interest, she has conducted research on topics ranging from
the cinematic city to British television crime series. She is currently developing a study of the 'empty spaces' of British cinema and television which emerges from her research into London
16:30 - 18:00 and the cinema and develops longstanding interests in cinematic spaces, cities and geographies. She is also undertaking research on the television crime series and writing a BFI Television
Classic on the 1978 BBC series, Law and Order, and has recently co-edited an issue of the Journal of British Cinema and Television on 'Screen Londons'. She is the author and editor of
several books, including: London in Cinema: the cinematic city since 1945 (London: BFI, 2007); The Feminist, the Housewife and the Soap Opera, (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 2000);
Screen Tastes: Soap Opera to Satellite Dishes, (London: Routledge, 1997); Feminist Television Criticism (1st edn), co-edited with Julie D’Acci and Lynn Spigel (Oxford University Press,
1997); 2nd edn, co- edited with Lynn Spigel (Open University Press, 2007); Films for Women (editor) (London: BFI, 1986); Everyday Television: Nationwide (with David Morley),
