Domaines de recherche :
Géochimie isotopique – Spécialité : isotopes radiogéniques et isotopes stables, mis en œuvre pour
le traçage des interactions eaux/roches, roches/sols et sols/végétaux. Application à l’étude de la
durabilité des matériaux et de leur comportement à court et à long terme, notamment dans les
concepts de stockage de déchets nucélaires ; Application à l’analyse de l’origine des produits
minéraux et agro-alimentaires.
Thèmes de recherche développés :
Axe 1 : « Faisabilité du stockage des déchets nucléaires MHAVL en formations géologiques
profondes »
Comportement des matériaux dans les concepts retenus ou à l’étude de stockage des
déchets nucléaires : analyse des interactions argiles / béton (collaboration IRSN, approches de
laboratoire et étude in-situ sur le site IRSN de Tournemire), caractérisation des perturbations
thermiques en milieux argileux…
Identification des paléocirculations de fluides dans l’environnement lointain d’un futur site de
stockage : étude de sites analogues naturels (Malte – collaboration IRSN et Université d’Orsay),
caractérisation en laboratoire souterrain de recherche (Site IRSN de Tournemire en France, site
NAGRA de Mont Terri en Suisse– collaboration Swisstopo)
Axe 2 : « Transferts des RAdionucléides dans le Sol, le Sous-sol et les Ecosystèmes » .
- Transfert du strontium de la nappe phréatique, aux sols et aux plantes (projet en cours de
définition, application sur le site IRSN de la fosse T22 de Tchernobyl (Ukraine).
Axe 3 : « Origine géographique des produits agro-alimentaires » :
- Mise au point de méthodologies analytiques pour la mesure des isotopes du Sr dans les matrices
de produits agro-alimentaires. Application au traçage de l’origine géographique des cafés
(collaboration CIRAD) et des huiles d’olives AOP du Gard (collaboration SERFEL).
