Peter Graham is a Winnipeg artist whose
practice includes painting, drawing,
and printmaking. His work successfully
combines fine craftsmanship, attention
to detail, and a sense of humour. Peter
has exhibited in solo and group shows
and his work is held in both public and
private collections in Canada and the
United States.

Peter Graham est un artiste winnipégois
qui pratique la peinture, le dessin et la
gravure d’art. Son travail combine avec
succès une excellente connaissance
du métier, une attention au détail et
un sens de l’humour. Il a présenté des
expositions individuelles et collectives
et ses œuvres se retrouvent dans des
collections privées et publiques au
Canada et aux États-Unis.

All are welcome to meet Peter and view
an exhibition of selected paintings and
original prints, along with new work
he has created while at the Deep Bay
cabin.

RESIDENCY PROJECT
Peter will be researching one of Riding
Mountain Park’s most well known
and complex residents, Archie Belaney,
or, Grey Owl. The photographs and
sketches that he accumulates during the
course of his residency will eventually
be used to recreate various incidents
from Grey Owl’s life through paintings
and prints. In the spirit of Grey Owl’s
conservation message, Peter will be
using non-toxic techniques to produce
his prints.

CHALET DEEP BAY
Peter ménera des recherches sur
l’un des résidents les plus connus et
les plus complexes du parc du MontRiding, Archie Belaney ou Grey Owl.
Les photographies et les croquis qu’il
accumulera pendant son stage seront
utilisés à la longue pour recréer divers
incidents de la vie de Grey Owl sur des
peintures et des gravures. Dans l’esprit
du message de conservation de Grey
Owl, Peter utilisera des techniques non
toxiques pour produire ses gravures.
