Voilà qui a l’allure d’un « all-star project » ! Jugez plutôt : Rick Wakeman (Yes), Jordan Rudess (Dream
Theater), Pär Lindh, Heather Findlay et Bryan Josh (Mostly Autumn), Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings,
Transatlantic) jouant sur le même album ! John Bollenberg est un journaliste de rock et ex-chanteur du groupe
Quies qui a composé, avec le guitariste Bjorn Johansson, ce « voyage musical à travers les mythes et légendes de
la Bruges médiévale », et en assure les parties vocales masculines fort bien d’ailleurs. Cette « expérience »
secrète donc avec brio un parfum médiéval pour les mélodies, et un rock progressif authentique pour les
arrangements, les solis de guitare et de clavier (vertigineux !), la structure des morceaux. Soignée et bien
produite, voilà une « visite » qui vaut la peine d’être faite !

on the same album! John Bollenberg is a freelance rockjournalist and singer (in the band Quies) who composed
with guitar player Bjorn Johansson and performed vocals of this “musical journey through myths and legends of
medieval Brugge”. Mixing a medieval feeling as to melodies, and authentic progressive rock for arrangements,
guitar and keyboard solis, musical structures, this “experience” is a worked-out and well produced concept
album, a visit worth to be made !
