Olivier HECKMANN is a French internet pioneer, serial entrepreneur and independent board member
in technology companies.
He started his career in 1993 in Mountain View, Silicon Valley.
He co-founded in 1995 MultiMania, the first homepage building social network, grow the team to 120
people, ranked Top 3 most visited site in France with over 5M hosted websites and raised 60M€ on
the French Stock Exchange in 2000. MultiMania was acquired by Lycos Europe in 2001.
In 2003 he co-founded Kewego which became the leading European B2B video platform with over 300
clients, 5 international subsidiaries and a team of 80 people. Kewego was acquired by worldwide IP
video leader Kit Digital inc. in 2011.
Today Olivier HECKMANN is an active board member in several technology companies (Gandi.net,
Kalidea, Evergig, Wizbii, Oxent,…) and an independent advisor for Start-up. He also seats on the
board of Scientipôle Croissance, one of the most active French foundation for start-up financing.
