The building at Rue Du Four was constructed in 1800, and is immediately
recognizable by the red door of the entrance. One can only imagine waking up to a
freshly baked croissant and café au lait before setting out to explore Paris, and later,
coming home, having walked and walked miles in the streets and experiencing the
ambience of this romantic city. In short, this home is a perfect warm and cozy retreat in
the centre of Paris' most dynamic neighbourhood.
The luxury apartment encompasses the entire fourth floor. Upon entering for the first
time, passing through the double front doors into the foyer, one is struck by the
amount of light coming through the south facing windows of the salon and dining
room, which look out over the Rue du Four.
It is almost impossible to convey in photos the comfortable and intimate feeling this 3
bedroom, 2½ bathroom apartment evokes with its beautiful woodwork and
plasterwork. The scale of the rooms feels just right. The Master suite has a king-size
bed, a private en suite cedar dressing room and a marble bathroom. There are
fireplaces in the living room, the master bedroom, and 1 guest bedroom. All the
bathrooms are done in a warm toned marble and the open kitchen has granite
countertops.
