Faculty of Social and
Economic Sciences in the
University of Bursa
(Turkey) before joining
CERI as a research fellow
in 1982. He is President of
AFEMOTI (the French
Association for the Study
of the Eastern
Mediterranenean and the
Turkish-Iranian Region)
and editor of the Cahiers
d'Etude sur la
Méditerranée orientale et
le monde turco-iranien
(CEMOTI).
