During the MODO PARCOURS 2011 MODO BRUSSELS, under the creative direction of Didier Vervaeren, will install 2 expos
"BRUSSELS MEETS SEOUL MEETS BRUSSELS". The first expo will present the work of the first year students of La Cambre Mode[s],
the second one will show the result of the workshop "Full Metal Jacket", a workshop under supervision of Tony Delcampe and Didier
Vervaeren with students of the renomated corean Samsung Art & Design Institute in Seoul. A first vision on the future generation at
both sides of the planet.

DANCE/FASHION PERFORMANCE
HAUTE COUTURE is a project that appropriates from the concept and techniques of Haute Couture and the Fashion Context,
departuring from 4 customized costumes/garments.
The artistic process explores the use of the body as a surface, a canvas or a landscape, in an exercise of dressing/undressing the body
and skin, creatingillusionary effects of visibility/invisibility of the body itself and playing with the idea of body-object (model) where shape,
form, figure, fluidity, glamour and elegance are on the base of the choreographic structure.
This project was created and developed through different choreographic residencies in Brussels, Évora, Faro and Lisbon putting in
collaboration for the first time the Portuguese choreographer and costume designer Rafael Alvarez, based in Lisbon.
HAUTE COUTURE was presented in Lisbon on the frame of NOME EIRA#2, asmall festival dedicated to the work of Rafael Alvarez and
will be presented in 2012 at MUDE – Lisbon Fashion and Design Museum during the Lisbon Fashion Week – MODALisboa.
