 A 44-year-old man of Baie Ste Anne Praslin has been arrested, subject to police investigation in a wounding incident which occured at Grand
Anse Praslin on Saturday night.
The injured man, age 30 years from Grand Anse Praslin, is presumed to have been stabbed in the middle of his back with a knife. He was
initially transported to the Baie Ste Anne hospital before being transferred to Mahé and admitted on the ward.
His condition has been described as stable.
The incident, which took place at the Grand Anse creche car park following an argument between the two men, was reported to the police at
around 11.40pm.
