Ct. t h e I m p e r i a l , S u l t a n F r a c t i o n , T r a n s i t F r a c t i o n , Kitchener, Independence F r a c t i o n , and Ida E. (Lots 198-200, 202, 203, 291), OWNER OR OPERATORIPROPRI~TAIRE O U EXPLOITANT were Crown-granted i n 1901 t o E.W. Hamilton and a s s o c i a t e s . An o p t i o n on t h e p r o p e r t y was held by H. Pearce i n 1901-02 and a d d i t i o n a l e x p l o r a t i o n work was done on s u r f a c e and underground. Some a c t i v i t y was reported on t h e p r o p e r t y i n 1903 and 1904. Development wort, mainly on t h e P a r i s E x h i b i t i o n claim, c o n s i s t s o f about 580 f e e t of c r o s s c u t s , d r i f t s and r a i s e s i n 2 a d i t s over a v e r t i c a l d i s t a n c e of about 130 f e e t . A small o r e shoot encountered on t h e upper l e v e l i n the -. west d r i f t was stoped t o t h e s u r f a c e .
