Example #1:
Je mange le bonbon.
negative: Je ne mange pas le bonbon.
Example #2
Tu vas aller au cinéma.(vas et aller are 2 verbs)
negative: Tu ne vas pas aller au cinéma.
So ne_____ pas goes before and after the first verb which is ...aimes.

Example #3
Il arrive à l’école.
negative: Il n’ arrive pas à l’école. *
z (Here we use n’_____pas because the verb starts with a vowel)

pas de stylo.*
z The j’ will become je because it is not in front of a vowel anymore.
z un will become de because un, une, des changes to de or d’ (only in
the negative form)
