Abstract
The article is dedicated to the analysis of syntactic and semantic features of the Italian
verbal form dico (1.sing. from the verb dire – to say). The proposed description
distinguishes between the discursive and non-discursive uses of dico, and formulates
its semantic properties.
Résumé
L’article est consacré à l’analyse des propriétés syntaxiques et sémantiques de la
forme verbale dico (1.sing.). Dans quel contexte s’agit-il de la construction discursive
et quelle est sa sémantique ? Ce sont les questions auxquelles la description proposée
donne les réponses.
