► Am I eligible ?
No pre-requisite background or training is required. There is no age limit.
The program is limited to 40 participants. Application forms are taken into account depending
on arrival order. Your registration will be confirmed after formal clearance for sites access.
►How do I apply and how can I pay the fees?

►Do I need a visa ?

When all documents for your registration have been submitted, AREVA will issue an invitation letter to
participants who are not holding a passport issued by a European Union member state for visa-issuing
authorities. This AREVA invitation for training will facilitate obtaining your visa.
► How transportation is organized ?

Arrival Sunday evening in Aix en Provence
The Nuclear Learning Tour begins in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France with easy access by air,
rail, and road. Marseille Provence Airport is located 20 km away.
The Nuclear Learning Tour concludes in Paris.
For participants living outside France, you will probably fly into Paris with a connecting flight to Marseille.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle airport or from central Paris you can also take a TGV (high speed train)
to Aix-en-Provence (3 hours).
Participants are responsible for their transfer to the hotel in Aix-en-Provence from airport or railway
station.
AREVA will be available to assist you at your hotel at the arrival on Sunday evening and throughout the
program.
Departure Wednesday evening from Paris
To facilitate your departure, AREVA will be available to assist you.
During the training, the transfers are arranged by AREVA (bus or train) as indicated in the itinerary you
will receive.

►Shall I be insured ?
Avant votre arrivée sur place, vous devez vous assurer que vous avez souscrit aux assurances
suivantes :
• Assurance frais médicaux d’urgence et rapatriement, le cas échéant
• Assurance de responsabilité civile
►Do I have to dress in a particular way ?
Tenue professionnelle décontractée est de rigueur.
Cependant, pour les visites de sites, évitez les talons hauts et les chaussures ouvertes.
►Is there a deadline to apply ?
The program is limited to 40 participants. Applications are accepted as they are received.
The registration deadline is four weeks before the start of the program for participants who hold an
EU member country passport. For citizens of other countries, the registration deadline is six weeks
before the starting of the program).
►Can I get a refund in case of cancellation ?

The in-classroom teaching dates cannot be modified. If the customer cancels, the following
compensatory fees shall be due:
Cancellation notified 45 calendar days before training start: 30% of the cost of the session shall
be due by the customer,
Cancellation notified between 45 and 30 calendar days before training start: 70% of the cost of
the session shall be due by the customer,
Cancellation notified after the registration closure or less than 30 calendar days before the
training start, whichever is the earliest date: the cost of the session shall be due in full by the
customer,
No-show of participant: the cost of the session shall be due in full by the customer.

► Is it possible to modify the registration of a participant ?

AREVA accepts that a participant who is prevented from attending the course can be replaced by
another participant with the same profile and the same training requirements, and who is available
on the reserved dates.
Participants can be replaced until the registration closure or 30 calendar days before the planned
start of training. Beyond that date, no modifications shall be possible in view of the site access
formalities to be completed.
