Nowadays, ACL reconstruction surgery is
a major area of research worldwide.
This is partly due to the large number
of athletes being involved in amateur
and professional sports with high
expectations.
Research and innovation abound in
this area, with improvements in clinical
outcomes are achieved constantly.
Knowledge of the anatomy, of the
different procedures for ACL, of advances in biology and studies on prevention and rehabilitation are the keys of
success. We still improve our outcome in
order to further the advances already
made, but also to reduce the risk of repeating the mistakes of the past.
Aujourd'hui, la chirurgie de reconstruction du
LCA est un domaine de recherche majeur
dans le monde entier. Ceci est dû,
notamment, au nombre de plus en plus
important de sportifs amateurs et professionnels avec des attentes élevées.
Les travaux de recherche et l’innovation
abondent dans ce domaine, avec de
constantes améliorations dans les résultats
cliniques. La connaissance de l'anatomie, des
techniques chirurgicales différentes pour la
reconstruction du LCA, les progrès de la
biologie et les études sur la prévention et la
rééducation sont les clés du succès. Nous
améliorons encore nos résultats dans ce domaine afin de poursuivre les progrès déjà
réalisés mais aussi pour éviter de répéter les
erreurs du passé.
