Dear participant to Libya Rally 2016,
Attached you can find the Official Race Rules for the 2016 edition of the rally. All questions
regarding these rules will be answered after the general briefing in Agadir on Thursday 14th
April. Thanks for your understanding.
At the moment you'll be reading this, we'll be on our way to Morocco for the final reccie &
road book checks. We've noticed that there are still many people who need to fill in & upload
their data via our online registration platform called "Competitor Control"
(www.competitorcontrol.nl). May I please ask you with urge to create your team-account (if
you haven't done so), to add ALL vehicles and ALL team members and to fill in the "travel
info" today or tomorrow. (and the rest by the end of the month at the latest).
I'll be in Agadir tomorrow evening and I'll have a meeting with the hotel to confirm the
number of rooms we need (for the 11-12-13-14 April). Most of you will have booked their
flights already so you might as well put your arrival date in Agadir in the system. People who
arrive by boat, may fill in "arrival on 12th April". Nights prior to the start of the rally will be
invoiced at 50€ per person/per night (including dinner & breakfast). We'll do the booking for
you, based on your arrival date. This supplement will have to be paid in cash in Agadir or by
bank transfer before 1st April. You understand that if we do not no have this info (arrival
date) soon, you might not find a room in the rally hotel.

Beste deelnemer aan de Libya Rally 2016,
In bijlage vind je de Officiële Race Rules voor de 2016-editie van de rally. Vragen met
betrekking tot dit document worden enkel beantwoord in Agadir na de algemene briefing op
donderdag 14 april. Bedankt voor uw begrip.
Op het moment dat je deze mail leest, zijn wij met een team op weg naar Marokko voor de
finale road book controles en vergaderingen met onze lokale partners. We hebben echter
gemerkt dat sommigen hun info nog niet ingegeven hebben via ons online systeem
"Competitor Control" (www.competitorcontrol.nl). Mag ik jullie a.u.b. met aandrang vragen
om vandaag of morgen ten laatste jullie team-account aan te maken (via "start
registration"). Mocht je dit al gedaan hebben, log dan terug in (via "log in" rechtsboven) en
zet AL je voertuigen en AL je mensen in het systeem. Vul dan minimum hun naam, e-mail
adres in alsook hun "aankomstdatum in Agadir". Deze datum hebben we nodig om binnen
enkele dagen het exacte aantal nachten te kunnen blokkeren bij het hotel aan de start, overige
info kan u later invullen (maar wel vóór eind februari).
Belangrijk: u vult gewoon uw aankomstdatum in Agadir in en wij doen de boeking. Deze
nachten vóór de start van de rally worden gefactureerd aan 50€ per persoon per nacht
(inclusief avondmaal en ontbijt). De facturatie hiervan gebeurt nog vóór 1 april of cash in
Agadir.

En annexe vous trouverez le règlement de course officiel pour l'édition 2016 du rallye. Il sera
répondu aux questions concernant ce document après le briefing général du jeudi 14 Avril à
Agadir.
Au moment où vous lirez ce courrier, nous sommes au Maroc pour le contrôle final du
roadbook et les réunions avec nos partenaires locaux. Cependant, nous avons remarqué que
certains n'ont pas encore entrés leurs informations dans notre système en ligne "Competitor
Control" (www.competitorcontrol.nl). Puis-je vous demander si vous plaît de créer
aujourd'hui ou demain au plus tard, le compte de votre équipe (via "start new registration"). Si
vous l'avez déjà fait, reconnectez-vous (via "log in" en haut à droite) et inscrivez TOUS les
véhicules et TOUTES les personnes dans le système. Remplissez au minimum leur nom,
adresse e-mail, ainsi que leur date d'arrivée à Agadir ("arrival date in Agadir"). Le reste des
infos pouvant être complétées pour la fin du mois au plus tard. Nous avons besoin de cette
date pour, dans quelques jours, être en mesure de bloquer le nombre exact de nuits à l'hôtel.
La plupart d'entre vous ont déjà réservé leur billets d'avion et donc peuvent facilement
encoder leur date d'arrivée dans le système. Les personnes arrivant par bateau peuvent mettre
la date du 12 avril.
Important: il suffit de remplir vos dates et nous allons effectuer pour vous la réservation de
votre séjour. Les nuits précédant le début du rallye seront facturées à 50 € par personne par
nuit (y compris dîner et petit déjeuner). Le paiement doit être fait par virement avant le 1er
avril ou en espèces à Agadir.
