Seconds from Prominent Chateau
2nd Wine/Label in Bordeaux can be excess wine that producers have not chosen for the chateau’s first label, but are
usually grown in the same vineyard with the first label. Their quality is still very high at affordable and pleasant pricing
point. Depending on different chateau, 2nd Wine/Label can be made from property’s younger vines. For example, Echo
de Lynch Bages, the 2nd wine of Lynch Bages, is chiefly made from the property’s youngest vines.

Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto IGT Toscana 2011
RP 92: Made with Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot, the 2011 Guidalberto opens to dark, rich
concentration and beautiful aromatic intensity. You really feel the weight and importance of the wine
thanks to its shapely aromas of dark fruit, plum, spice and bitter chocolate. The mouthfeel is
incredibly supple and the rich density is long lasting.
