L’authenticité des pièces de l’uniforme du héros militaire canadien, Isaac Brock, fut l’objet
d’une longue controverse. Après une recherche exhaustive, l’auteur croit avoir mit le point final
à cette dispute. Il nous fournit, tout en décrivant la méthodologie suivie dans sa recherche, la
destination que peut exercer les sources d’archives.
ABSTRACT
The authenticity of Canadian military hero Isaac Brock’s military uniform was the subject of
controversy. Following an exhaustive research, the author believes he has finally put this
disputed subject to rest. While describing the methodology used in his research, the author
presents the reader with the destination that archival sources can provide.
