MIMM 2016 Scale Model Contest Classes and Categories
Judging: 3 independant judging methods used:
• Points system: Each entry will be evaluated (judged) on a point system, with bronze, silver and gold awards
• Traditional IPMS: First, Second and third places will be awarded in each category
• Public vote: Participants and visitors must vote for their favorite entry in each class fromm 11 am to 1 pm
+Skill Levels (used for the points system judging)
• BASIC: Modelers new to the hobby or of basic skill level. Models are usually out of the box or have minor tweaks
• INTERMEDIATE: Models built by the majority of modelers. Some modifications, corrections, resin and/or photoetch.
• ADVANCED: Models are heavily reworked, accurized, or display non-commercial (scratchbuilt) parts / modifications.
