ASSURANCE SANTÉ
Une couverture santé est obligatoire.
- Si vous êtes ressortissant de l’Union Européenne ou de l’Aele :
Munissez vous de votre carte européenne d’assurance maladie ou l’attestation la remplaçant sur laquelle doit
figurer la date de prise en charge.
Ceci est délivré par le Centre de protection sociale de votre pays.
- Si vous n’êtes pas ressortissant de l’Union Européenne. :
Si vous avez moins de 28 ans et votre séjour est de + de 4 mois
Même si vous venez en France avec une assurance établie dans votre pays, vous devez adhérer à la sécurité
sociale française. Coût pour 2011/2012 : 207 Euros quelle que soit la durée du séjour. L’adhésion à la sécurité
sociale est valable du 1 octobre 2011 au 30 septembre 2012. Elle rembourse environ 70% des dépenses de
santé.
A votre arrivée en France, contacter svp l’ISTC afin d’établir votre dossier.
Il est recommandé de prendre une couverture complémentaire de santé (mutuelle étudiante). Il existe
plusieurs mutuelles en France.
La plupart des étudiants de l’ISTC adhèrent à la SMENO : www.smeno.com. Le coût de la cotisation varie selon
l’option des remboursements des frais choisis (à partir de 70€/an).
Si vous avez plus de 28 ans
Vous ne pouvez pas adhérer à la sécurité sociale française. Vous devez prendre une assurance privée.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance is indispensable throughout your stay in France.
- Union European Students :
Bring with you your European health insurance card or the health insurance
certificate provided by the authorities in your home country.
- Non-Union European Students :
If you are under 28 and your stay in France is more than 4 months
Even if you come in France with your own health insurance, you must take out the French Health Insurance
(Sécurité Sociale). The annual premium is to be paid for the entire academic year no matter when students
come to France. The cost for 2012/2013 is 207 Euros. It is valid from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012. It
refunds about 70 % of medical costs.
On your arrival, please contact theISTC in order to be helped to fill in the appropriate forms.
This is optional but recommended to get a complementary cover to obtain better refunds. This cover is distinct
from the affiliation to the Sécurité Sociale. Several supplementary student insurance companies exist. Most of
the students from Lille ISTC take out the SMENO : www.smeno.com. The costs vary depending on the
insurance company and the option chosen (from 70 Euros/academic year)
If you are over 28 years : You must buy a private health insurance
