Il enseigne à l'Esba-Talm, site d'Angers au sein de l'option design qu'il coordonne. present : What remains of a furniture catalog when the furniture has been removed? CATALOGUE_13 Post-production by David ENON Cover the catalog pages of the largest brand of Swedish furniture with black tinted areas. Erase the images so all that remains is the text we usually do not read. This is the protocol that designer David Enon meticulously set up to create this object, then produced via a low cost printer found on the internet. There is no need to read between the lines to bring to light the ideology that is inherent in this production. The words speak for themselves: between advertising injunction, uninhibited political slogan and personal development advice, a highly contemporary discourse suddenly shows through that would not seem unmatching within the brochures of the most famous sects. ___ David ENON is an independent designer, represented by the ToolsGalerie (Paris) and the Mica Gallery (Rennes).
