warm-up time and no waiting with On-Demand Fixing Technology. Your first
print comes out fast, in under 17.6 seconds (B&W), thanks to Canon's
advanced CAPT & SCoA technologies. Plus a USB2.0 Hi-Speed connection
between your printer and PC speeds up the transfer of image data significantly.
PROFESSIONAL QUALITY PRINTS
Exceptional laser printing quality gives a competitive edge to all your
work. A 600 x 600 dpi resolution is enhanced right up to an impressive
9600 x 600 dpi equivalent using Canon's Automatic Image Refinement
(AIR) smoothing technology. The end result is razor sharp text and graphics whether in brilliant colour or crisp black and white.
EXTRA EASY TO USE
The front operation is designed to make replacement of consumables,
and general maintenance completely hassle-free. You can check the
printer status in either the PC window, or through the four LED's on the
front of the printer. Flexible paper handling, complete with a convenient
125-sheet Multi Purpose Tray, adds to ease. An optional 250-sheet cassette
is available to handle high volume workloads. Also, the Laser Shot LBP5200
is surprisingly compact for a colour laser printer, whisper-quiet in use and
requires minimal maintenance.

OPTIONAL NETWORK PRINTING
Workgroups can share colour laser printing resources to get the most
from the Laser Shot LBP5200. All that is required is an optional AXIS 1611
Print Server, which can be installed quickly and easily, to transform the
device into a truly productive network colour printer.
CANON TECHNOLOGY: INCREASING EASE & EFFICIENCY
CAPT (Canon Advanced Printing Technology) ensures excellent laser print
quality and simple operation. It provides a user-friendly Windows graphical
interface with a helpful 'sound assist' function, so high-quality, professional
documents can be printed with ease.
SCoA (Smart Compression Architecture) automatically compresses data in
the PC before it is sent to the printer. This means that data is processed far
faster and less memory is needed in the printer.
