UNIBAIL acquires JLSI - Unibail
UNIBAIL acquires JLSI On June 30, 2004 Unibail acquired 100% of the shares of Jean-Louis Solal Investissement (JLSI). JLSI was founded in 1973 by Jean-Louis Solal, pioneer in the creation of the French shopping centre model. Aside from its activity of designing shopping centres in conjunction with leading international developers, JLSI owns stakes in eleven different shopping centres throughout France. This acquisition fits in with Unibail's development strategy. Thanks to this transaction, Unibail increases its stakes in three shopping centres: BAB 2, Saint-Genis 2 and Ulis 2, and takes interests in eight others, two of which are supra-regional centres: Lyon PartDieu and Evry 2.
