General instructions for use Before each use, check:
1) GENERALITIES
1.1 Introduction
Your fall arrester STOPMAX EVOLUTION is of the
automatic repeat type stan­dard En 360. It will
provide you with perfect service, thanks to its
extreme reliability and low maintenance requirements. See the section on Maintenance to keep
your fall arrester « STOPMAX EVOLUTION» in perfect working order. If this documents does not

1.2 Description of components
The complete set include:
- a mechanism of drum with plastic engraved
cover
- a kevlar strap with protection on the end

2) INSTALLATION
The commissioning must respect the following
points :
It is recommended to assign a fall arrester ‘ STOP
MAX EVOLUTION» to each user.
2.1 Before each use
- You should carry out a visual examination of
the whole ensemble, fall attester, lanyard,
sling, connectors, harness (if there is any doubt
about the safety of the set, it is essential to
return them to the manufacturer).
- You must ensure that the recommendations for
utilization are known, in particular:
- method of fixation
- choice of the hooking point, R = 15 kN
- association with other components(harness,
connectors) is correct
- Only the use of material complying with EC
standards is authorised
- make sure that the date for returning the
material to the manufacturer for verification
has not been passed.
- The instructions for use for the equipment used
with this material are to be correctly followed

2.2 Anchor point of the fall arrester
This must be situated above the user at most it
can be situated at the same hori­zontal level as
the dorsal anchorage point on the harness.
2.4 Fixation
Only use, in association with anti-fall, connectors,
harness and sling comply with standard En 354
and En 362. The anti-fall fixation to attest anchorage point can only be made by means of the
hole of the gripping handle and fixation.
N.B. -The anchorage point must be tested and must comply with the corresponding EC standard. 2.5 Harness
Make sure that this complies with standard En
361 (harness for fall arrester)
- that the size is suitable for the user
- that the adjustments and settings are correct
- that the seams, buckles and straps do not
show any deformations, rupture, tracesof
oxidation or other damage.
- it there are any anomalies, discard the
equipment, or sent it back to the manufac­turer
for testing.
2.6 Installation
After checking the preceding points (2.1 to 2.5)
link the extremity of the fall arres­ter webbing
to the harness by means of a tested connector
(standard En 362), the link with the harness must
only be made using the buckle of the harness
designed for this ( ref. method of using harness,
which details this point).
2.7 Vertical movement
You must ensure that the capacity of the appliance is compatible with the height of working.
2.8 Lateral movement
During rewinding, the strap must always be kept
under tension (never let the end loose).
2.9 Utilisation
- The fall arrester must be positioned above the
operator. In all cases, the work angle of the
strap must never be greater than 300 with
respect to the vertical
- You must charge position at normal speed
- any acceleration, jolting or similar movements
will action the brake of the appliance
- the webbing must always be under tension,
if it is loose, check the appliance with the
manufacturer
2.10 Headroom
Check that in function of the equipment being
used, the headroom is sufficient for the user.
Envisage at least 1.5 m under the feet of the user.
2.11 After a fall
It is obligatory to return the appliance to the manufacturer or an approved centre, for checking.
2. 12 Equipment components
It is absolutely forbidden to replace the components of the fall arrester
4) IMPORTANT
In the European Directive «P.P.E. Utilization» and
also in the ministerial decrees of March 5th
and 9th 1993, there is mention of OBLIGATORY
general periodic check-ups for certain P.P.E.s, in
particular individual safety appliances for protection falls from a height. After consulting the Ministry of Work - Subsection machines, it appears
that these verifications are formally the full and
entire responsibility of the employer. This responsibility includes in particular:
- the type of P.P.E. verified
- the naming of the responsible person
- his training
- the decisions on putting back into service or
not
- the keeping of a security register.
2.13 Obligatory return to the manufacturer
In the event that the appliance has been used to
stop a fall, or when there is any doubt about the
safety of the equipment (damage to the cable,
cover, or unsatis­factory operation)
3) MAINTENANCE
3.1 Preventive maintenance
You must ensure:
- General periodic check-up has been done
- Storage under normal conditions (dry and
ventilated storage place) regular checking of
the webbing of your appliance (only clean it
with a dry cloth, without detergent or thinner,
and do not grease it)
- In the case of an operational anomaly, the
appliance must obligatorily be returned to the
manufacturer to be checked.
- In the presence of deformation, bangs,
oxidation, or doubts about its safety, the
appliance must obligatory be returned to the
manufacturer to be checked.
-In order for these rules to be correctly
respected, it is recommended that each user
should be allocale his own appliance.
3.2 Corrective maintenance
The corrective maintenance can only be carried
out by the manufacturer.

son extrême fiabilité et un entretien réduit. Voir le
chapitre Maintenance pour conserver votre antichute « STOPMAX EVOLUTION » en parfait état de
marche. Dans le cas où ce livret ne vous apporterait pas toutes les réponses à vos questions faites

1.2 Description des composants
L’ensemble complet comprend:
- un mécanisme d’enrouleur avec carter
plastique gravé
- sangle kevlar avec protection sur boucle
d’extrémité
2) INSTALLATION
La mise en service doit respecter les points suivants: il est recommandé d’attribuer une antichute « STOPMAX EVOLUTION» à chaque utilisateur
2.1 Avant toute utilisation
- Vous devez procéder à un examen visuel
de l’ensemble, antichute, longe, élingue,
connecteurs, harnais (en cas de doute sur la
sécurité de ces ensembles, retour impératif au
fabricant).
- Vous assurer que les recommandations
d’utilisation sont connues, notamment :
- mode de fixation
- choix du point d’accrochage, R = 15 kN
- l’association avec d’autres composants
(harnais, connecteurs) est correcte
- seule l’utilisation de matériel répondant aux
normes CE est autorisée
- vous assurer que la date de retour du matériel
au fabricant pour vérification n’est pas
dépassée
- Les instructions d’utilisation des équipements
utilisés avec ce matériel soient respectées.

2.2 Le point d’accrochage de l’antichute
Il doit être situé au dessus de l’utilisateur : on
peut admettre au maximum qu’il se situe dans le
même plan horizontal que le point d’accrochage
dorsal sur le harnais.
2.4 Fixation
N’utiliser en association avec l’antichute que des
connecteurs, longes, élingues conformes aux
Normes EN 354, EN 795 et EN 362. La fixation de
l’antichute à un point d’ancrage éprouvé, doit se
réaliser à l’aide du connecteur supérieur.
NB. - Le point d’ancrage doit être éprouvé et conforme à la norme CE
correspondante. 2.5 Harnais
S’assurer que celui-ci est conforme à la norme EN
361 (harnais d’antichute)
- qu’il est approprié à l’utilisateur (taille)
- que ces réglages et mise en place sont corrects
- que les coutures, boucles et sangles ne
présentent pas de déformations, ruptures,
traces d’oxydation ou autres dommages
- en cas d’anomalie mettre l’équipement au
rebut, ou en contrôle chez le fabricant
2.6 installation
Après contrôle des points précédents (2.1 à 2.5),
relier l’extrémité de la sangle de l’antichute au
harnais d’antichute au moyen du connecteur
inférieur (Norme EN 362), la liaison avec le harnais doit s’effectuer exclusivement sur la boucle
du harnais prévue à cet effet (se référer au mode
d’emploi du harnais qui précise ce point).
2.7 Déplacements verticaux
Vous devez vous assurer que la capacité de l’appareil est compatible avec la hauteur de travail.
2.8 Déplacement latéraux
L’antichute doit être positionné au-dessus de
l’utilisateur. Dans tous les cas, l’angle de travail de
la sangle ne doit jamais excéder 30° par rapport
à la verticale
2.9 Utilisation
- Lors du rembobinage, la sangle doit toujours
rester sous tension (ne jamais lâcher
l’extrémité)
- vous devez effectuer vos déplacements à une
vitesse de marche normale. Les accélérations,
sauts et d’autres enclenchent le freinage de
l’appareil
- la sangle doit toujours être tendue; en cas
de « mou «, faire vérifier l’appareil par le
constructeur.
2.10 Tirant d’air
Vérifier qu’en fonction de l’équipement utilisé, le
tirant d’air est suffisant sous l’utilisateur. Prévoir
au minimum 1,5 m sous les pieds de l’utilisateur.
2.11 Après une chute
Retourner obligatoirement au constructeur l’appareil pour contrôle.
2.12 Composition équipement
Interdiction formelle de remplacer des composants de l’antichute
INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
Dans la directive européenne « E.P.I Utilisation «
ainsi que dans les arrêtés ministériels des 5 et 9
mars 1993, il est fait de vérifications générales
périodiques obligatoires pour certains E.P.I, notamment pour les systèmes de protection individuelle contre les chutes de hauteur. Après avis
auprès du Ministère du Travail - Sous Direction
machines, il apparaît formellement que ces vérifications sont de la responsabilité pleine et entière
de l’employeur, cette responsabilité englobe notamment :
- le type d’E.P.I. vérifiés
- la nomination de la personne compétente
- sa formation
- les décisions de remise ou non en service
- la tenue du registre de sécurité -
2.13 Retour obligatoire au fabricant
Dans le cas ou l’appareil a été utilisé pour arrêter
une chute et aussi dans le cas ou l’on doute de la
sécurité de l’appareil (dommages sur sangle carter, mauvais fonctionnement).
3) MAINTENANCE
3.1 Maintenance préventive Vous devez vous
assurer :
- que la date de vérification annuelle obligatoire
ne soit pas dépassée
- du stockage dans des conditions normales
(lieu de stockage sec et aéré)
- contrôler régulièrement la sangle de votre appareil (le nettoyer uniquement avec un chiffon
sec, sans détergent, ni diluant, ne pas la graisser).
- dans le cas d’anomalie de fonctionnement,
l’appareil devra être obligatoirement retourné
pour vérification
- en présence de déformations, chocs, oxydation
ou doute sur sa sécurité, l’appareil doit être
obligatoirement retourné au fabricant pour
vérification
- pour le bon respect de ces règles, il est
recommandé d’attribuer un équipement à
chaque utilisateur
3.2 Maintenance importante
La maintenance corrective, ne peut être effectuée que chez le fabricant.

1.2 Beschreibung der einzelnen Bestandteile
Die Sturzsicherung setzt sich zusammen aus :
- einem Aufwickler-System mit gestochenem
Gehäuse aus Kunststoff
- Kevlar-Gurt mit Schutzvorrichtung auf dem
Endring
2) INBETRIEBNAHME
Bei der Inbetriebnahme sind die folgenden Punkte zu berücksichtigen: jedem Benutzer ist eine
Sturzsicherung «STOPMAX EVOLUTION» unbedingt zuzuteilen.
2. 1 Vor jeder Benutzung
- müssen Sie eine Sichtprüfung aller
Bestandteile E.P.I. gegen Stürze aus groβer
Höhe vornehmen : nämlich Sturzsicherung,
Seil, Schlingen, Verbindungsstücke, Gurtwerk
(falls Zweifel über die Sicherheit dieser Teile
besteht, sind diese unbe­dingt zum Hersteller
zurückzuschicken).
- versichem Sie sich, daβ die Richtlinien zur
Benutzung bekannt sind, insbesondere :
- Befestigungsweise
- Wahl des Verankerungspunktes – W
= 15 kN daβ die Kombination mit
anderen Komponenten (Gurtwerk,
Verbindungsstücken) korrekt ist
- die Verwendung von Material, das den
EG-Normen entspricht, ist Vorschrift.

- versichern Sie sich auch, daβ das Datum der
Rückgabe an den Hersteller für die jährliche
Kontrolle nicht überschritten ist.
- Die Gebrauchsanweisungen der mit diesem
Material verwendeten Ausrüstungen beachtet
werden.
2.2 Der Verankerungspunkt der Sturzsicherung
Dieser muβ über dem Benutzer liegen. Allerhochstens kann es erlaubt werden, daβ der
Verankerungspunkt auf derselben waagrechten
Linie liegt wie der rück­wärtige Befestigungspunkt auf dem Gurtwerk.
2.4 Befestigung
Mit der Sturzsicherung dürfen nur Verbindungsstücke, Seile, und Schlingen ver­wendet werden,
die den Normen EN 354, EN 795 und EN 362
entsprechen. Die Befestigung der Sturzsicherung an einem sicheren Verankerungspunkt muβ
durch Vermittlung des oberen Verbindungsstückes durchgeführt werden.
Hinweis ! Der Verankerungspunkt muβ sicher sein und mit der entsprechenden Norm
übereinstimmen. 2.5 Gurtwerk
Achten Sie darauf, daβ dieses der Norm EN 361
(Gurtwerk zur Sturzsicherung) entspricht.
- es muβ dem Benutzer angepaβt sein (Größe).
- es muβ ordnungsgernäβ eingestellt und
angebracht sein.
- seine Nëhte, Ringe und Gurte dürfen keine
Verformungen, Brüche, Oxidationsspuren oder
andere Beschädigungen aufweisen.
- im Fall von Mängeln muβ die Ausrüstung
aus dem Verkehr genommen oder an den
Hersteller zur Prüfung geschickt werden.
2.6 Benutzung
Nachdem die vorliegenden Punkte überprüft
wurden (2.1 bis 2.5), ist das Ende des Gurtes der
Sturzsicherung mit dem unteren Sturzsicherungs-Gurtwerk mittels einem überprüften Verbindungsstück zu verbinden (der Nom EN 362
gemäβ). Die Verbindung mit dem Gurtwerk muβ
ausschlieβlich über den dafür vorgesehenen
Ring des Gurtwerkes erfolgen (Erklärungen zu
diesem Punkt finden Sie bitte in der Bedienungsanweisung des Gurtwerks).
2.7 Senkrechte Fortbewegungen
Sie müssen sich versichern, daβ die Kabelleistung des Geräts mit der Arbeitshöhe kompatibel
ist.
2.8 Seitliche Fortbewegungen
Beim Einrollen muss das gurt dauend gespannt
bleiben (das Ende nie loslassen).
2.9 Benutzung
Die Absturzsicherung muss sich über dem Kopf
des Benutzers befinden. Auf jeden Fall darf der
Arbeitswinkel des gurts niemals mehr als 30° von
der Senkrechte abweichen
- Führen Sie bitte Ihre Fortbewegungen in einer
normalen Geschwindigkeit aus.
- Beschleunigungen, Sprünge und Âhnliches
führen zum Einrasten und Blockieren der
Bremse des Geräts.
- Der Gurt muβ immer gespannt sein. Falls es
locker wird, Iassen Sie das Gerät vom Hersteller
überprüfen.
2.10 Lichte Höhe
Achten Sie darauf, daβ die lichte Höhe unter dem
Benutzer in Abhängigkeit von der verwendeten
Ausrüstung ausreichend ist. Unter den Füβen des
Benutzers muβ die lichte Höhe mindestens 1,5 m
betragen.
2.11 Nach einem
Das Gerät ist unbeding dem Hersteller zur Inspektion zuzuschicken.
gereinigt und nicht gefettet werden).
- bei fehlerhaftem Betrieb muβ das Gerät
unbedingt zur Kontrolle an den Hersteller
zugeschickt werden.
- damit diese Vorschriften eingehalten werden,

3.2 Korrigierende Instandsetzung
Eine korrigierende Instandsetzung darf nur beim
Hersteller vorgenommen werden.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS !
In der europäischen Richtlinie» E.P.I. Benutzung»
ebenso wie in den ministerlichen Erlaβen vom
5. und 9. Mârz 1993 wird von einer periodischen
Generalüberholungs­Pflicht für bestimmte E.P.1.
gesprochen, insbesondere für die Systeme zur
Sicherung und zum Schutz von Personen gegen
Stürze aus groβer Höhe Nach Ansicht des Arbeitsministeriums
- Unterabteilung Maschinen
- fallen diese Überprüfungen ausdrücklich in die
Verantwortlichkeit des Arbeitgebers
- Diese Verantwortung umfaβt insbesondere
- die Art der überprüften E.P.I.
- die Ernennung der sachverständigen Person
- die Schulung
- die Entscheidungen zur Betriebstauglichkeit
oder nicht
- die Führung des Sicherheilsverzeichnisses.
2.12 Zusammenstellung der Ausrüstung
Es isl ausdrücklich untersagt, die Bestandteile der
Sturzsicherung auszutaus­chen.
2.13 Obligatorische Rücksendung zum Herstefler
Falls das Gerät verwendet wurde, um einen Sturz
abzufangen, und ebenso wenn Zweifel über die
Sicherheit des Geräts bestehen (z.B. Beschädigungen an Gurt oder Gehäuse, fehlerhafte Funktion).
3) WARTUNG
3.1 Vorbeugende Warlung
Achten Sie bitte darauf, daβ:
- das Datum für die obligatorische jährliche
Kontrolle nicht überschritten ist.
- die Lagerung unter normalen Bedingungen
erfolgt (trockener und belüfteter
Aufbewahrungsort).
- den Gurt Ihres Geräts regelmäβig überprüft
wird (es darf nur mit einem trockenen Lappen
ohne Reinigungsmittel oder Verdünner

1.2 Descripción de los componentes
El conjunto completo consta de
- un mecanismo de enrollador con cárter de
plástico grabado
- cincha kevlar con protección sobre hebilla de
extremidad
2) INSTALACIÓN
La puesta en servicio tiene que conformarse
con los puntos siguientes: es obli­gación que se
atribuya un anticaída « STOPMAX EVOLllTlON « a
cada usuario.
2.1 Antes de utilizar el material
- Tiene que proceder a un control visual
del conjunto: anticaída, bandola, eslinga,
conectadores, cinturón de suspensión (en casa
de duda en cuanto a la seguridad de dichos
conjuntos, es menester que los devuelva al
fabricante).
- Asegúrese de que las recomendaciones
relativas a la utilización sean conocidas, en
particular :
- modo de fijación
- elección del punta de enganche, R = 15 kN
- de que la asociación con otros componentes
(cinturón de suspensión, conec­tadores) es
correcta - sólo se autoriza la utilización de
equipos que cumplan con las normas CE

- compruebe que la fecha de devolución del
equipo al fabricante para su inspección anual
no haya caducado.
- Se respetan las instrucciones de uso de los
equipos utilizados junto con este material.
2.2 El punto de enganche del anticaída
Éste tiene que ubicarse preferentemente más arriba del usuario : se puede admitir como máximo
que se sitúe en el mismo plano horizontal que el
punto de anclaje dorsal en el cinturón de suspensión
2.4 Fijación
No utilice en asociación con el anticaída más que
conectadores, bandolas, eslingas que cumplan
con las Normas EN 354, EN 362 Y EN 795. La fijación del sis­tema anticaída a un punto de anclaje
seguro tiene que hacerse por medio del conectador superior.
N.B. - El punto de anclaje tiene que ser seguro y conforme con la norma CE cor­respondiente. 2.5 Cinturón de suspensión
Cerciórese de que éste cumpla con la norma EN
361 (cinturón de suspensión de anticaída)
- de que su tamaño sea adecuado a la talla del
usuario
- de que los ajustes y la colocación sean
correctos
- de que las costuras, hebillas y cintas no
presenten deformaciones, roturas, marcas de
oxidación u otros daños
- en caso de cualquier anomalía, deseche el
equipo o mándelo controlar por el fabricante.
2.6 Montaje
Después de haber comprobado los puntos anteriores (2.1 a 2.5), una la extre­midad del cable del
anticaída con el cinturón de suspensión del anticaída median­te el conectador inferior (Norma EN
362). La unión con el cinturón de suspensión se
hará exclusivamente sobre la hebilla del cinturón
de suspensión prevista para tal efecto (refiérase
a las instrucciones de utilización del cinturón de
suspensión que dan las explicaciones acerca de
este punto).
2.7 Desplazamientos verticales
Vd tiene que comprobar que la capacidad del
aparato es compatible con la altu­ra del trabajo.
2.8 Desplazamientos laterales
El anticaída debe estar colocado por encima del
usuario. En todos los casos, el ángulo de trabajo
del cincha no debe superar los 30° con relación
a la vertical
2.9. Utilización
- Durante el rebobinado, el cincha debe
permanecer siempre tenso (no soltar nunca el
extremo).

- La cincha tiene que estar siempre tensada; si
Vd nota que está floja, mándela controlar por
el fabricante. 2.10 Altura libre Compruebe que
según el equipo utilizado, la altura libre sea
suficiente debajo del usuario. Con tal respecto,
prevea como distancia mínima 1,5 m debajo
de los pies del usuario.
2.11 Después de una caída
Devuelva de manera obligatoria el aparato al
constructor para que éste lo controle.
2.12 Composición del equipo
Se prohíbe da manera formal hacer cualquier
sustitución de los componentes del anticaída.
- cuando haya deformaciones, choques,
oxidación o cuando exista alguna duda sobre
la seguridad de mismo, se tiene que mandarlo
al fabricante para revisarlo.
- para que se cumplan todas estas reglas, se
recomienda atribuir un equipo a cada usuario.
3.2 Mantenimiento correctivo
El mantenimiento correctivo del aparato sólo
puede hacerlo el fabricante.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
En la Directiva Europea « E.P.I. Utilización» así
como en los decretos ministe­riales del 5 y del 9
de marzo de 1993, se mencionan unos controles
generales periódicos obligatorios para ciertos
E.P.I. más particularmente para los sistemas de
protección individual contra las caídas de altura.
Después de consultar con el Ministerio del Trabajo - Subdirección Maquinaria ­consta de manera
formal que estos controles son la plena y entera
responsabilidad del empresario. Esta responsabilidad abarca en particular:
- el tipo de E.P.I. controlados
- el nombramiento de la persona competente
- su formación
- las decisiones relativas a la puesta de nuevo o
no en servicio del aparato
- la teneduría del registra de seguridad.
- Fecha de caducidad de 5 anos, respetando
instrucciones de folleto informativo.
2.13 Devolución obligatoria al fabricante
Cuando se haya utilizado el aparato para parar
una caída y también cuando exista alguna duda
en cuanto a la seguridad del aparato (deterioros
en la cincha, el cárter, disfuncionamiento).
3) MANTENIMIENTO
3.1 Mantenimiento preventivo
Vd tiene que asegurarse:
- de que la fecha para la inspección anual
obligatoria no haya caducado
- del almacenamiento en unas condiciones
normales (Lugar de almacenamiento seco y
aireado)
- del control regular de la cinta (correa) de su
aparato (Límpiela únicamente con un paño
seco sin detergente ni diluyente, no la engrase)
- en casa de alguna anomalía de
funcionamiento, el aparato tendrá que ser
obligatoriamente devuelto al fabricante para
que éste lo verifique.

serviço perfeito graças a sua grande fiabilidade
e a um mantimento reduzido. Ver o capitulo do
Mantenimento para poder conservar perfeito
o sistema contra as quedas «STOP­MAX EVOLUTION». Se este manual não responder à todos as
perguntas, referise ao :

1.2 Descrição dos componentes
o conjunto completo leva:
- um mecanismo de enrolador com cárter de
plástico gravado
- cinta kevlar com protecção numa fivela de extremidade
2) INSTALAÇÃO
Para proceder á instaiação, é necessario seguir
as instruções que se encontram mais abaixo.
Aconselha-se atribuír um sistema contra as quedas « STOPMAX EVO­LUTION» a cada utilizador.
2.1 Antes de cada utilização
- Proceder a uma verificação visual do
conjunto dos sistemas E.P.I. contra as que­das
dum sitio alto: o anti-queda as correias, os
ganchos, o arnês (se tiver uma duvida sobre a
segurança de serviço dos conjuntos, se deve
obrigatoriamente vol­tar tudo ao fabricante).
- Assegurar-se do bom conhecimento dos
conselhos de utilização. em particular :
- o modo de fixação
- a escolha do ponto de enganchamento, R =
15 kN
- que a colocação com os outros componentes
(arnês, conectores) está cor­recta.
- só se pode utilizar um material que responde
ás normas CE.
- não ultrapassar a data de volta ao fabricante
do equipamento para a verifica­ção

- Que são respeitadas as lnstruções de utilização
dos equipamentos utiliza­dos.
2.2 O ponto de enganchamento do sistema
contra as quedas
Deve situar-se preferentemente por cima do utilizador: no máximo pode-se admitir que esteja
posto no mesmo plano horizontal do ponto de
colocação dorsal situado no arnês.
2.4 Fîxaçao
Com o sistema Contra as Quedas, só utilizar ganchos, conectores, eslingas e cor­reias conformes
às Normas EN 354, EN 362 e EN 795. A fixação do
sistema Contra as Quedas a um ponto de ancoragem aprovado tem que fazer-se com o conector
mos­quetão superior
N.B. - O ponto de ancoragem tem que ser aprovado e conforme à norma CE correspondente 2.5 Arnês
Assegurar-se da conformidade do arnês com a
norma EN 361 (arnês de sistema contra quedas)
- Proceder à verificação das medidas do
utilizador (tamanho)
- verificação da regulagem e da colocação do
mecanismo e do bom funcionamento do
equipamento.
- Verificação das costuras, das fivelas e das
correias que não devem estar defor­madas,
partidas, oxidadas ou danificadas ou com
qualquer outro defeito.
- No caso em que se encontrarem anomalias,
não utilizar o equipamento ou mandàIo
controlar pelo fabricante.
2.6.lnstalação
Depois de ter controlado os pontos anteriores
(2.1 a 2.5), juntar a extremidade do cabo do sistema Contra as Quedas ao arnês contra as quedas
com o conector mosquetão inferior (Norma EN
362). A junção com a arnês deve ser obrigatoria­
mente feita com a fivela do arnês prevista para
este uso (referir-se às instruções no manual do
arnês. Dão-se expllcações desta manipulaçao).
2.7 Deslocações verticais
Assegurar-se que a capacidade do aparelho está
adaptada à altura do trabalho.
2.8 Deslocações laterais
Posicionar obrigatoriamente o anti-queda por
cima do utilizador. Em todos os casos, o ângulo
de trabalho do cabo nunca deve ultrapassar 30°
com relação à verti­cal
2.9 Utilização
- Durante a bobinagem, o cabo deve sempre
ficar sob tensão (nunca soltar a extremidade)
- Efectuar as deslocações à velocidade normal
do andamento.
- As acelerações, os saltos e outros engatam o
freio do aparelho
- A cinta tem sempre que estar estendida. Se
não for o caso, mandar contralar o aparelho
pelo fabricante
2.10 Altura livre
Em função do equipamento utilizado, verificar
que a altura livre debaixo do ulilizador é suficiente. Prever pelo menos 1,5 m debaixo dos pés
do utilizador.
2.11 Depois duma queda
Mandar obrigatoriamente o aparelho para que
seja controlado pelo fabricante.
- se houver deformações, choques, oxidações
ou duvidas sobre a segurança, o aparelho
tem que ser obrigatoriamente enviado ao
fabricante para ser verificado.
- para poder respeitar normalmente estes
conselhos de utilização, aconselha-se atribuir
um equipamento a cada utilizador.
3.2 Mantimento correctivo do funcionamento
o mantimento correctivo do funcionamento só
poder ser realizado pelo fabri­cante.
INFORMAÇÃO IMPORTANTE
Na Directiva Europeia» E.P.I. Utilização» e nas portarias ministeriais do 5 e do 9 de março de 1993
menciona-se que as verificações gerais e periódicas são obri­gatorias para certos E.P.I. e especialmente para os sistemas de protecção indivi­dual
contra as quedas de altura. Segundo o Ministerio
do Trabalho - Subdirecção da Maquinaria, consta
expres­samente que essas verificações são da inteira responsabilidade do patrão. Esta responsabilidade inclui :
- o tipo de equipamentos E.P.I. verificados
- a nomeação da pessoa competente
- a aprendizagem
- as decisões para voltar a pôr ou não o aparelho
ao serviço do utilizador
- a escrituração do registro de segurança.
2.12 Os componentes do equipamento
Está expressamente proibido trocar os componentes do sistema Contra as Quedas.
2.13 Mandar obrigatoriamente o equipamento ao
fabricante
No caso em que o aparelho for utilizado para
parar uma queda, e também se houver duvidas
sobre a segurança do aparelho (danos sobre a
cinta, 0 cárter, um mau funcionamento).
3) O MANTIMENTO
3.1 Mantimento preventivo Assegurar-se :
- que a data de verificação anual obrigatoria não
ha sido ultrapassada
- da arrumação do equipamento faz-se nas
condições normais (sitio para a arru- mação
seco e aerado).
- do controle regular da cinta do vosso aparelho
(Iimpà-Ia unicamente com um pano seco, sem
detergente nem diluente, não engraxar nem
lubrificara cinta).
- no caso em que o aparelho tiver anomalias
de funcionamento, isso tem que ser enviado
obrigatoriamente para uma verificação.

1.2 Beschrijving van de onderdelen

2) INSTALLATIE
Bij de installatie moeten de volgende punten
woroen opgevolgd : het is obliga­tarisch om iectere gebruiker te voorzien van een eigen STOPMAX EVOLUTION valstopapparaat .
2.1 Voor iedere gebruik
- Moet u een visuelle inspectie uitvoeren over
het complete systeern tsgen het even­tuele
vallen van grote hoogte: valstopapparaat,
strop, lijn, veiligheidshaken, haro nassen (ais er
enige twijfel bestaat omtrent de veiligheid van
deze produkten dan is het noodzaak om ze te
retourneren naar de fabrikant).
- U moet zich verzekeren van het felt dat de
eisen voor het gebruik van deze pro­dukten bij
u bekend zljn. vooral :
- verankeringswijze (veiligheidshaak, ring van
een riem)
- keuze van het ophanpunt W = 15 kN
- dat de samenslelling met andere produkten ls
toegestaan
- allen het gebruik van rnaterialen die voldoen
aan de Europese regelgeving zfjn toegestaan.

- De gebruiksinstructies van de mel dit materiaal

2.2 Het verankeringspunf van het valstopapparaa
Dit punt moet zich zo goed mogelijk boven de
gebruiker bevinden, ais het moet kan het zich
ook bevinden op de zelfde -ïooqte ais het ophangpunt op de rug van het harnes
2.4 Bevestiging
Gebruik alleen materialen ( veiligheidshaken,
Iijnen, stroppen die voldoen aan de normen EN
354, EN 362 en EN 795 in combinatie met de MINIMAXI. De beves­tiging van het valstopapparaat
aan een daarvoor geschikt verankeringspunt
mag alleen gebeuren d.m.v. een veiligheidshaak.
N.B. Het verankeringspunt moet van te voren getest worden en overeenkoms­tig zijn met de belreffende CE regelgeving
2.5 Harnas
Let erop dat deze harnassen overeenkcmstlq zijn
mel EN 361 (harnassen voor valstopapparaat)
- dat de maat geschikt is voor de gebruiker
- dat de atstellinçen carree! zlln en dat zij goed
passen.
- dat de stiksels, ringen en banden geen sporen
verlonen van detorrnane, sporen van oxydatie
of andere schade.
- bij de qerlnqste anomalie moet het metertael
worden weggegooid of door de fabri­cant
worden gecontroleerd.
2.6 Installatie
Na het controleren van voorgaande punten (2.1
tot 2.5) verbindt het uiteinde van de valstopapperaat-kabel aan het harnas door middel van net
onderste veiligheids­haak (Norm EN 302), De verbinding mel het harnas mag alleen gebeuren aan
de daarvoor bestemde ring van hel harnas (referentie : de gebruiksaanwijzing van hel harnes, die
de nadruk legt op dit punt).
2.7 Vertikale beweging
U moet zich ervan verzekeren dat de capacltelt
van het apparaat in overeens­temming is met de
werkhoogte.
2.8 Zijdelingse beweging
De veiligheidsgordel dient boven de gebruiker
te worden qopleatet. In ioder qoval dlent de
werkhoek van de riem nooit meer te zijn dan 30»
in verhouding tot de lood­Iijn
2.9 Gebruik
Bij versnellingen, sprongen en dergelijke wardl
het blokkeersysteem van het appereat in werking gesteld
- voorkom versuelde bewegingen omdat deze
tot gevolg kunnen hebben dat de remwerking
van het apparaat in werklnq treedt.

2.10. Vrije hoogte

2.11 Na een val
Na een val is het verpllcht het apparaat ter inspectie aan te bieden aan de labri­caut.
2.12 Samenstelling van de onderdelen

te vervangen vati hel valsto­papparaat.
- in het geval van deformatie, oxydalie oftwijfel
over de veiligheid van hel apparaat moet
het apparaat verplicht worden onmiddelijk
aangeboden voor lnspectle aan de fabricant
- teneinde een goede werking te

gebruiker te voorzien van een eigen systeem.
3.2 Belangrijke onderhoud
De correctieve onderhoud kan alleen door de fabricant gemaakt worden

hoogte. Naar het cordeel van de Minister van

dat deze controles onder de vole verantwoordelijkheid van de werkgever vallen, en in het bijzonder voor:
- het type gecontroleerde E.P.I.
- de benoeming van de verantwoordelijke
persoon,
- zijn opleiding,
- de beslissing voor het al of niet opnieuw in
werking stellen,
- het bijhouden van het veiligheidsregiste.
2.13 Verp!ichting van retour aan de fabricant
ln het geval dat het apparaat is gebruikt om een
val te stoppen of in het geval oat u twifelt over de
veiligheid en werklnq van het apparaat (schade
op riem, carter, rlem. slechte werking)
3) ONDERHOUD
3.1 Preventief onderhoud
U moet zich ervan verzekeren dat::
- de da1um van de jaarlijkse lnspcotle niet ls
verstreken.
- de Minimaxi onder normale condities wordt
opgeslagen (droog en geventileerde opslaq)
- er een regelmatige controle plaatsvlndt van rte
nam van uw apparaat (allëën schoonmaken
met een droge doek, niet invetten).

moet het rnaterlaal worden aange­boden aan

- che sia adeguata all’utilizzatore (taglia)
- che le loro regolazioni e la messa in opera sene
corrette
- che le cuciture, le fibbie e le cinghle non
presentino delle deformazioni, rollure, tracce
di ossidazione o altri danni.
- in caso di anomalie, mettere l’attrezzatura
tra gli scarti, o sotto controllo presso il
fabbricante.
2.6 Installazione
Dopo il controllo dei punti anteriori (da 2.1 a 2 ..
5) collegare l’estremilà del cavo dell’anti caduta
all’imbragatura di anti caduta per mezzo di un
connettore inferiore (Norma EN 362): il collegamento con l’imbragatura deve essere effettuato
esclusi­vamente sull’anella dell’imbragatura
prevista a questo scopo (riferirsi al modo di uli­
Iizzazione dell’imbragatura che precisa questo
punlo).
2.7 Spostamenti verticall
Dovete assicurarVi che la capacità dell’apparecchio sia compatibile con l’altez­za di lavaro
2.8. Spostamenti laterali
Il sistema anticaduta deve essere posizionato al
di sopra dell’utilizzatore. In ogni caso, l’angolo di
lavaro del cavo non deve mai essere superiore a
30° rispetto alla verticale
2.9. Utilizzazione
Durante il riavvolgimento, il cinghia deve sempre
rimanere sotto tensione (non las­ciare l’estremità)
- Dovete effettuare i vostri spostamenti ad una
velocità di marcia normale.
- Le accelerazioni, i salti ed altro, inneslano la
frenata dell’apparecchio.
- la cinghia deve essere sempre tesa, in caso di «
rilassamento «, fare verificare l’apparecchio dal
costruttore.
2.10 Altezza libera
Controllare che in funzione dell’attrezzatura utilizzata, l’altezza Iibera sia sufficiente sotto l’utilizzatore. Prevedere almeno 1,5 m sotto i piedi
dell’utilizzatore.
2.11 Dopo una caduta
Restituire obbligatoriamente al costruttore l’apparecchio per il controllo.
- per il buon rispetto di queste regole, si
raccomanda di assegnare una attrezzalura ad
ogni utilizzatore.
3.2 Manutenzione correttiva
la manutenzione correttiva non puo’ essere effettuata che presso il fabbricante.
AVVERTENZA IMPORTANTE
Nella Direttiva Europea «E.P.I. Utilizzazione» come
pure nei decreti ministeria­li dei 5 e del 9 marzo
t993, vengono specificate verifiche generali periodiche obbli­gatorie per certi E.P.I. soprattutto
per i sistemi di protezione individuale contro le
cadute dall’alto. Dopo avviso presso il Ministerio del Lavoro - Sollodirezione Macchine, appare
formalmente che questi controlli sono sotto la
piena e intera responsabilità del datore di lavoro.
Questa responsabilità comprende soprattutto :
- il tipo di E.P.I. controllati
- la nomina della persona competente
- il suo addestramento
- le decisioni di rimessa o no in servizio
- la tenuta del registro di sicurezza.
2.12. Composizione dell’attrezzatura
Divieto assoluto di sostituire dei componenti
dell’anti caduta.
2.13 Restituzione obbligatoria al fabbricante
Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio sia stato utilizzato
per bloccare una caduta e anche nel caso in cui
si dubiti della sicurezza dell’apparecchio (danni
sulla cinghia, sul car­ter, cattivo funzionamento).
3) MANUTENZIONE
3.1 Manutenzione preventiva
Voi dovete sempre assicurarVi:
- che la dala per la verifica annuale obbligatoria
non sia scaduta.
- dell’immagazzinamento in condizioni normali
(Iuogo di conservazione asciutto e venlilato).
- controllare regolamente la cinghia del vostro
apparecchio (pulirla unicamente con uno
strofinaccio asciutto, senza detergente nè
diluente, non ingrassarla).
- nel caso di anomalia di funzionamento,
l’apparecchio dovrà essere obbligatoria­mente
restituito al fabbricante per controllo.
- in presenza di deformazioni, urti, ossidazione,
o in caso di dubbio sulla sua sicu­rezza,
l’apparecchio dovrà essere obbligatoriamente
restituito al fabbricante per verifica.
