Port and environment days For a more environmental-friendly approach in port design and operations Le Havre, 10th and 11th of March 2010 World Trade Centre The directors of the Grand port maritime of Le Havre (GPMH), of the Centre for maritime and river technical studies (CETMEF) and the president of the French section of PIANC together with the chairman of the European Technology Platform WATERBORNE are honoured to invite you to the “ports and environment days 2010” The proposed programme is the result of the conjunction of two events, the high-level 2010 annual event of the WATERBORNE TP -which will besides hold the day before, on March 9th, one of its regular statutory meetings- and the Port and Environment days jointly organised by the Grand Port Maritime du Havre, the CETMEF, WATERBORNE TP and the PIANC French section. The three half-days sessions will be followed by on-site visits in order to be able to appreciate the efforts made on ecological upgrading of the river Seine estuary and the environmental works on Port 2000.
