Port and environment days
For a more environmental-friendly approach in port design and operations
Le Havre, 10th and 11th of March 2010
World Trade Centre
The directors of the Grand port maritime of Le Havre (GPMH),
of the Centre for maritime and river technical studies (CETMEF)
and the president of the French section of PIANC together with the chairman
of the European Technology Platform WATERBORNE are honoured to
invite you to the “ports and environment days 2010”
The proposed programme
is the result of the conjunction of two events, the high-level 2010 annual event of the
WATERBORNE
TP
-which will besides hold the day before, on March 9th, one of its regular
statutory meetings- and the Port and Environment days jointly organised by the Grand Port
Maritime du Havre, the CETMEF, WATERBORNE TP and the PIANC French section.
The three half-days sessions will be followed by on-site visits in order to be able to
appreciate the efforts made on ecological upgrading of the river Seine estuary and the
environmental works on Port 2000.
