People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Khider University of Biskra Faculty of Letters and Languages Department of Foreign Languages Section of English Master Students - Centred Study Days on Methodology March 11th & 12th, 2015 It seems appropriate at this juncture to explain the difference between research method and research methodology. The former may be understood as all those methods/ techniques that are used in conducting research. The latter refers to a systematic way to solve a research problem. They are aimed to help students gain an advanced understanding of a range of research concepts, as well as the skills needed to prepare and present research. Second Study Day This is the second part of a two part-series- a one-day conference aimed at helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of research approaches and methods, referencing, data analysis…. in other words, anything helpful for master students to undertake their research.
