properties, has fashioned a brilliant 2009 sleeper of the vintage from this tiny estate.
A dense purple color and copious aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and flowers are
found in this medium to full-bodied, pure, long Margaux. It should drink well for 10 + years

" Nicely juicy, with a lightly grippy edge adding lenght to the core of plum, blackberry
and red currant fruit. A streak of black tea chimes in on the velvety finish. From a 1.2
- acre parcel in the Margaux AOC owned by Château Cambon La Pelouse.

" Parcelle du Château Cambon La Pelouse ( Haut-Médoc ) située dans l'appellation
Margaux, ce vignoble n'est pas très âgé ( vignes de huit ans ), mais sa jeunesse ne
l'empêche pas d' offrir un vin fort intéressant. D'un grenat intense, ce 2008 développe un
bouquet aux parfums très prometteurs de fruits rouges bien mûrs sur fond vanillé. Ronds et
bien présents, les tanins permettront un vieillissement de quelques années. On servira
alors cette bouteille sur une entrecôte. "

Jolie entrée en bouche de suite tramée se développant avec du goût et une texture
savoureuse et aromatique.
Pour l'instant le vin est un peu marqué par le bois dans la persistance. Un beau résultat,
surtout pour des jeunes vignes.

« (A 50 / 50 Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) Deep medium ruby. Black raspberry,
violet and sweet oak on the nose; this reminded me of Vosne-Romanée. Sweet and chewy,
offering a mouthful of dark berries and a rather pliant, three-dimensional texture. Finishes
with substantial ripe, dusty tannins and good length. The first vintage from a tiny vineyard
purchased in 2006 by the owner of Cambon La Pelouse. I like this.

" Produced from a small acre of land in Margaux, this is made in the same extravagant
style as the cult wines of Saint-Emilion. With 100% new wood, it is definitely modern in
style, but there is sufficient concentration in the fruit to balance all that vanilla. It misses the
2006 freshness,but everything else is there. "
