Free afternoon in Florac.

Location: Gorges du Tarn***
Activities: Visit of Domaine de Gabalie’s wine estate, discover wine vinification
methods.
Tasting picnic in the estate.
Meeting in the National Parc’s Castle for an introduction to Cevennes territory,
narrative guided tour of Florac.
Date: 14 th October
Location: Gorges du Tarn***
Activities: Participation in goat’s cheese making in the Cevennes farm.
Observational walk and plants picking around the farm.
Lunch in the farm.
In the afternoon, walk in the steps of the famous Scottish writter, R.L. Stevenson.
Date: 15 th October
Location: Gorges du Tarn***
Activities: Mas Camargue’s interpretive trails of Cevennes National Parc on Mont
Lozere, discover the everyday life of Mas Camargue, the transhumance, the secret of
peatland and the beautiful granitic chaos.
Depending on the weather, picnic on the way or lunch in an ecotouristic guesthouse in a
typical hamlet of the Mont-Lozere.
Then, walk in the pont de Montvert to discover this starting-point of Camisards’ war
between protestants and catholics, based on the assassination of Chayla’s priest.
