These brackets must be used for CCTV installations
only.
Use only the recommended “fixed” bracket when
installions include a pan and tilt unit.
Use “preset” brackets with Camera Housing only
installations.
Please ensure that all equipment is suitable for the
application and the environment for which it is
intended.
Ensure all applicable specifications are adhered to.
Check load ratings, dimensions, etc.

SECURELY MOUNT THE ASSEMBLY!
This unit must be properly and securely mounted.
Care should be exercised in selecting suitable
hardware to install the unit, taking into account both
the composition of the mounting surface and the
weight the hardware will be required to sustain.
Ensure that each part of the assembly is securely
attached.
Failure to comply with the aforementioned could
result in the unit coming loose from the support
structure and falling, with resultant damages or injury
to anyone or anything struck by the falling unit.
INSTALL OUT OF REACH!
This equipment is designed to be installed out of
reach of the user or anyone who will come into casual
contact with the installation.
Be sure to provide suitable access equipment to
ensure the safety of installation or service personnel
working on the equipment.

Ce sous-ensemble doit être fixé correctement et
solidement. Lors du montage, il est impératif de
sélectionner avec la plus grande attention, les
systèmes de fixation en fonction de la composition de
la structure destinée à recevoir l’équipement et du
poids que ceux-ci sont susceptibles de supporter.
S’assurer que les différentes parties de l’équipement
sont solidement fixées.
Une inobservation des règles susmentionnées peut se
traduire par un décrochement de l’appareil par
rapport à la structure sur laquelle il est fixé et par
conséquent à sa chute. Dans celle-ci, il peut alors
blesser gravement une personne ou provoquer des
dommages matériels conséquents.

INSTALL CORRECTLY!
REALISER UN MONTAGE CONVENABLE !
The installation should be made by a qualified
installer. Wear safety goggles to BS 2092 when
drilling.
Always use the recommended or supplied screws and
fixings.
Use the appropriate tools.
Specific tools may be required for installation
purposes dependant upon the site in which the
assembly is to be installed.
The installation should be in compliance with local
codes.

qualifié. Porter des lunettes conformes a BS 2092
pendant le percage.
Toujours utiliser les vis et les fixations recommandées
ou fournies.Utiliser les outils appropriés.
Certains outils spécifiques peuvent être nécessaires,

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE!
MAINTENANCE PREVENTIVE !
It is recommended that the following checks are carried
out on a routine basis:

façon régulière :
1. One month after installation and every six months
thereafter, check the tightness and security of all
external fastenings (i.e. the whole CCTV
installation).
2. Every six months check electrical cables between
receiver and pan and tilt unit for signs of wear.
Replace where necessary.
Be sure to periodically examine the unit and the
supporting structure to make sure that the integrity of
the installation is intact.

mois, vérifier l’étanchéité et la sécurité de toutes les
attaches extérieures (c’est-à-dire toute l’installation
CCTV).
2. Tous les 6 mois vérifier les câbles électriques entre
le récepteur et la tourelle du fait de l’usure possible.
Remplacer où cela est nécessaire.
Vérifier régulièrement le support et la structure
d’accueil du support pour s’assurer que l’ensemble de
l’installation est intact.

Note: before/during installation of the enclosure ensure that:
1. The box contents are correct.
2. The installation instructions are read thoroughly.
3. The complete assembly is mounted and tested in
the workshop prior to use on site. (This can reduce
the installation time considerably.)
4. The correct brackets should be used to support the
weight of the washer assembly. The bracket has to
support the assembly without vibration.
5. Use a suitable cleaning fluid.

BK09 Heavy Duty Swivel-mount bracket
Introduction:
The BK09 Swivel-mount (formerly the Molynx WS100)
is an adjustable mounting bracket designed to support
a wide range of CCTV surveillance camera housing
assemblies.
The Swivel-mount is a heavy duty unit constructed in
cast aluminium. The bracket consists of two main
parts, the base and the mounting plate assembly.

101.6mm PCD.

Tilt Positioning:
The base assembly is held firmly on the tapered shaft
of the mounting plate and is secured with a M12 hex.
head stainless steel bolt.
The tilt adjustment is achieved by slackening the M12
bolt and releasing the base assembly from the tapered
shaft of the mounting plate (you may need to give it a
slight tap with a mallet).
Position to the required angle, see fig.2. It is possible
to achieve a tilt angle between the range of ±95°.
Tighten the M12 bolt and washer (maximum torque
setting of 74Nm).

Remove M12 stainless steel nut from captive bolt in
base mounting plate.
The base mounting plate has four mounting holes
Ø6.5mm equi-spaced on a 101.6mm PCD (see fig.3.)
suitable for bolting to a fixed bracket, column spacer,
etc.
Secure the base mounting plate (through the four
Ø6.5mm holes) to the bracket / column spacer using
four suitable M6 fixing screws, washers and nuts.

Camera Housing Mounting Details
Secure housing mounting plate to the base of the
camera housing through the four Ø6.5mm holes, using
the four M6 x 30mm cap. head fixing screws, washers
and nuts (supplied).
Pan Positioning:
Locate the assembled camera housing and BK09
mounting plate onto the bracket using the captive M12
bolt as guide.
Adjust lateral “pan” angle of the assembly as required.
Replace and tighten the M12 nut and washer
(maximum torque setting of 74Nm).

Introduction:
The BK08 Swivel-mount (formerly the Molynx WS40)
is an adjustable mounting bracket designed to
support a wide range of CCTV surveillance camera
housing assemblies up to a maximum weight of
40kg.
The BK08 is a medium duty unit constructed in
stainless steel.

It is possible to achieve a tilt angle between the

tighten the M8 nuts (maximum torque setting of
20Nm).

Bracket Mounting Details
The base has four mounting holes Ø9mm equispaced on a 101.6mm PCD (see fig.4.b) suitable for
bolting to a fixed bracket, column spacer, etc.
Secure the base to the bracket / column spacer using
four suitable M9 fixing screws, washers and nuts.
Camera Housing Mounting Details
Secure the camera housing to the mounting plate
through the four 4 x Ø7mm holes equi-spaced on a
101.6mm P.C.D. using suitable fixing screws, nuts
and washers.
Pan Positioning:
It is possible to achieve a pan position through 360°
by slackening the M8 nut with a 13mm
socket/spanner releasing the bracket base.
Adjust the bracket assembly as required and tighten
the M8 nut (maximum torque setting of 20Nm).
