This document is a documentary entitled Ned Kelly uncovered, dealing with outlaws, and more
precisely with a famous (= notorious) Australian outlaw : Ned Kelly.
According to Tony Robinson, outlaws are fascinating and romantic figures who live beyond the law (=
who break the law).
Ned Kelly was a famous Australian bushranger (= outlaw) who became a legend and a national icon.
He used to wear a homemade helmet and an armour to protect himself from bullets. He was caught
by the police and hanged in 1880.
Tony Robinson compares Ned Kelly to Jesse James (a notorious American bandit) and to Robin Hood
(a famous English folk hero).
