snowpark - Massif des Aravis
La clusaz snowpark Over the last 5 years La Clusaz has continuously invested in improvements to its facilities, this covers not just the up lift capacity but also the development of its skiable area. Indeed in the last 3 years, a total of 5 new highly efficient ski lifts have opened in the domain. Last winter, the resort chose to concentrate on the layout of the Snowpark and separated the “expert” lines from the “amateur” lines. This winter 2015/2016, a whole new area has been redeveloped that will thrill all ages. 1 The « Family Run » in La Clusaz, THE place to try this winter! Imagined by experienced professionals in the resort and developed by a team of well-known shapers, the brand new La Clusaz Fun Zone is opening this winter! Located on the Mini Loup sector, this learning zone, will offer the chance for all ages to safely discover the joys of Freestyling. The Family Run is comprised of 2 separate sections separated by a green run, each developed around modules to encourage “freestyle” techniques. •XS Circuit (green) : comprised of “Box” and “Woops” modules, size XS! •S Circuit (blue)to M(red) : comprised of air type modules, such as “table tops” or small “big airs” and S or M level “Boxes”. The “P’tit Loup” green run that separates the 2 circuits of the Family Run offers the chance for non-Freestylers or observers to follow their children and/or friends or just to master the basics of skiing before taking to freestyling. A recreational area has also been integrated along the slopes. As you ski through this fun packed area, try and spot the numerous wood sculptures, imagined by local artist, Sébastien Cohendet. The statue of the La Clusaz “Ram” was made especially for the resort. more about la clusaz on www.laclusaz-presse.com 1 Winter Experience PLAN-LACLUSAZ-2016-final-HD.pdf 1 03/09/2015 18:04:44 - ski aera clusaz-manigod Massif de Balme 2600 m Fe rn uy 1 St a le L’E ta dy co m Le p é s J ti o n ou x s se oi Vrailles Grand Crêt Fo Bo is Myr tille s P te Les Prises Les es Pris Massif de Beauregard 1690 m P Beauregard 1645 m 3 iglo Le Plateau ns Col de la Croix Fry La Source La Ceutire Etoile des Neig es Guy Périllat rd ga e ur a Be au Vers Annecy > Ba Pri ses sA ire No La be e eig ce-N Per by P Les Le Ca An dra Je n an n ot Crê te B Rho lanc he Cro dos Rosi cus ères Vérâ tres Névé Le ers L’Env an t rle Me Le Név é êt rillat Guy Pé du ee aadd Ruu le La er Cr Mu r d Grenêche uB o ss o n net nnet Le Nant n P’tit Bosson net Bosso Le Pla Le Var Le Co eur du La Villag e net sson Le Bo P P Caisse centrale P Plattuy Be Pa tin Ch am p Ble u oir e Champ Giguet La Clusaz A E R O C O M RGD 74/74 Vers Annecy / Genève Données Ris3D 7 3 /7 4 Les Riffroids P Gare routière A Snowpark worthy of the La Clusaz champions In response to the growing demand from skiers and snowboarders, the resort has decided t invest in different Freestyle zones throughout its skiable area. The snowpark is therefore going to be redeveloped according to the new safety standards imposed by the AFNOR and will feature 3 distinct levels of accessibility: intermediate (L), advanced (XL) or expert(XXL). Depending on snow conditions there will be 2 and 4 lines in a Slopestyle circuit(series of air and rail modules) aimed at confirmed skiers. rd ga re au Les Tollets M Le Var ire No Les Verriers M ur Ja un e az L’Etriv La Balme C êts vre en e G Ch Belet e eri av Co La Le Va r Le Plan 2 Ge b nti an am es s Fr olle lles Gir Polai Marmo e tte uin al Me rle La Motte P www.7byaero.com de P ca Myosotis uil re v he Le Plan Le Fernuy www.sintegra.fr ch n Bla Transv Le Plan Lac des Confins de u -Cho t Baby o P Crêt du Merle rle Me Le e Les Mélèzes Lo up up t Lo Bossonne Le P’t it ou ré Roualle be d i Var e lm Ba Co mb ed es Ju es Ju men me nts ts Com Le tte Mo La 00 Le Lou p it P’t io n pé t Loup Crêt du eau Louvet S t ade de com K Le Té tra s e 20 Le Da hu Le Stade CMY Crêt du Loup Combe du Voret uy rn Fe 00 Cot Ch Gene am pis ois lets Bo Arm tte Ch U’F La pia z Vra ille Chouca Choucas Bergerie Lachat 20 ar dg rE Mu CY Le y Fernu tit Gra nd Mo nta gn e Laquais me Bal MY Les Encarnes Pe quais s La Combe de Balme La Balme CM Combe de Fernuy nd ra Berg Bergeri eriee tit Airelles C ho uc Sa as pin s Sta de Les Laquais G rie rge Be Ju me nt Ju 20 00 men t é Y élv M e t ea u Bo tio n Torchère B e Col des Aravis Côte 2000 C Jo ub arb es Gra Sorb iers nd d ou gn va re Ca dè lm Ba Combe de Borderan le Ancolie uil L’A igu ille Merle oise ois Pe Tête de Cabeau Col de Merdassier Ede lwei Le Grand ss Cham e de La Creuse Le Belvédère 1980 m u rlo Ete ig Massif de Manigod 1650 m gin Ré l Co L’A Lo uv Torc hère L’Aiguille 2257 m le ail Vr Bla nch ot xx aauu nti Cri Massif de L’Etale 2400 m Massif de l’Aiguille 2400 m Torchère 2364 m Croix Fry Col de Balme 2477 m The creation of these different lines and their size will evolve throughout the season. Snowfall, temperature and the different events will regulate the work of the shapers and snow bashers who aim to create a maximum of variety. The shape and size of the Big Air, Rails and Boxes will change during the season. The brand new rails can be adapted, and so allow for a maximum of creativity. The most popular shape of rails will be used, such as Rail down, Flat Rail down, Pipe-Line Down, Flat Box down, Rainbow box, Canon rail, Pool Jam, Close Up, etc… 3 Point de vue Départ école de ski Téléski Caisses Ski de fond Corde Salle hors sac Rote lift Nature reserve Piste de luge Télésiège Restaurant Premiers secours Zone freestyle Télécabine Pique-nique Picnic area Difficult lift Randonnée Téléphérique Toilettes Piscine Patinoire Parking Informations Ski School Nordic ski Ski lift Rote lift Sledge Freestyle area Hiking trail rink Chairlift Gondolas Cable car Car park Ski pas Restaurant Free toilets Scenery view Réserve naturelle First Aid Téléski difficile Swimming pool Informations Improvement of the Boardercross on Beauregard The existing Beauregard Boardercross will be on improved during the winter of 2015/2016 in order to conform with the safety standards of AFNOR.
