“It was really tricky this morning, there was no visibility. It was difficult to see the road. I had to be really concentrated. I was pushing up and I got good times so I'm happy with this last performance and I was able to catch up higher positions. Fue una mañana muy complicada, no teníamos visibilidad y era difícil ver el camino. Tuve que tener mucha concentración. Presioné y saqué buenos puntos y estoy feliz con mi último desempeño ya que pude conseguir mejores posiciones. De no haber tenido problemas mecánicos, podríamos haber terminado en una posición mejor, pero estuvo bien y ahora necesitamos pensar en Portugal” Fra:​
“Ce matin c’était très difficile car la visibilité n’était pas bonne. C’était difficile à voir la piste. Je devais être vraiment concentré. J’ai dû foncer et j’ai eu de bons temps, alors je suis content avec ma performance car j’ai pu obtenir une meilleure position. “I’m very happy. I enjoyed this rally. I gained experience for next year. I think El Condor was a slower and more twisty stage than the rest. This last part was too technical. Fog didn’t bother me, it was just the opposite for me.” Esp:​

“ It is nice to come to Argentina because so many people like the rally, there are a lot of spectator. We had some problems with the car and the stages are very difficult but we could end up the rally, so in general we are happy.” Esp:​

“I’m a little bit disappointed with my 6th position in the general. It was a technical stage with a lot of fog. We had lots of problems. Regarding safety, it was clear that the organization worked a lot and that was very positive. There were marshals everywhere. There was no risk involved at anytime. “ Esp: “​
Estoy un poco decepcionado con mi 6º lugar en la clasificación general. Era una especial técnica, con mucha neblina. Todos tuvimos problemas. En lo que se refiere a la seguridad se nota mucho trabajo de la organización, eso fue muy positivo. Había muchos marshals por todas partes. En ningún momento hubo riesgo alguno.” . Fra:​
“Je suis un peu déçu avec ma 6e place dans le classement général.C’était une spéciale très cassante, avec du brouillard. Des problèmes pour tout le monde. En ce qui concerne la sécurité il y a eu un énorme travail de l’organisation, cela a été très très positif. “In my opinion, we need more from the car to be competitive with Volkswagen and Hyundai or Citroen when they come back in Portugal. I have done quite many rallies, I know when I´m good and I know when I´m bad. I have the same feeling as in Mexico that we have done a very good rally. It was rough, and already in recce we saw that it was rough, but on the rally car the sensation is different and it went smoother than in the past. Esp: ​
“En mi opinión, necesitamos más de parte del auto para poder competir con la Volkwagen, Hyundai o Citroen cuando vuelvan a correr en Portugal. He hecho varios rallies y se cuando estoy bien o mal. Sentí lo mismo en México y sabía que habíamos hecho un gran rally. Fue un tramo complicado. Ya en el reconocimiento vimos que era difícil, pero lo que se siente en el rally es algo diferente y estuvo mejor que antes” Fra:​
“A mon avis, on a besoin de plus de part de la voiture afin de pouvoir faire concurrence avec Volkswagen, Hyundai ou Citroên lorsqu’elles vont courir au Portugal. J’ai fait plusieurs Rallyes et je sais lorsque ça va ou ça va pas. J’ai senti la même chose au Mexique et je savais qu’on avait fait un bon rallye. “We lost a lot of time because of the fog, but we got some points for the constructors’ championship. We did good time, but they weren´t enough to win Mikkelsen. On the first day we had a problem with the pedal and we lost 30 seconds, at that moment, we lost the lead. Hyundai has improved a lot and I think we’re doing a good job” Esp:​
” Perdimos mucho tiempo por la niebla pero ganamos puntos para el campeonato de constructores. Hicimos buenos tiempos pero no los suficientes para Mikkelsen. “Esta mañana en las dos primeras especiales, presioné un poco y funcionó. Es verdad que antes de la última especial pensábamos que podíamos pero como ya dije, no me arriesgué mucho ya que las condiciones eran muy técnicas en la última especial. No quise arriesgarme. Bravo a Hayden por este fin de semana. Es una buena noticia para el Campeonato ver a Hyundai en condiciones más competitivas. Hace bien y me motiva a pelear en condiciones más iguales.” Fra:​

Je n’ai pas osé les prendre. Bravo à Hayden pour ce weekend. C’est une bonne nouvelle pour le championnat de voir Hyundai dans des conditions plus compétitives. “On the first stage we got some small technical problems, stalled the car once and the car was selected in neutral and we lost some time. The middle stage was very fast, I feel we had a very good stage but we lost a lot of time. I mean the pressure was on a lot for the last stage, I forgot about how rough it was. The whole rally in general was challenging. I'm still learning and getting experience. I really wanted to win this rally. I have a great feeling right now. I'm happy with the last performance where I could make a good time.” Esp: ​
“En el primer tramo tuvimos algunos problemas técnicos, el auto se paró una vez y tenía la marcha en punto muerto lo que nos hizo perder tiempo. La presión fue mucha en el último tramo, me había olvidado lo duro que era. El rally en general fue un desafío. Todavía estoy aprendiendo y adquiriendo experiencia. Realmente quería ganar este rally. Ahora me siento muy bien. Estoy contento con nuestro último desempeño ya que pude hacer un buen tiempo.”. Fra:​
“Dans la première spéciale nous avons eu des problèmes techniques. La voiture s’est arrêtée une fois et elle était en point mort, ce qui nous a fait perdre beaucoup de temps. Dans la dernière partie, nous avions une grande pression et en plus c’était très dur. En général, tout ce rallye a été un défi. J’apprends toujours et je continue à acquérir de l’expérience. Je voulais vraiment gagner ce rallye. Maintenant je me sens très bien. “Winning here is like winning at home with my local driver and lots of well known people cheering us. I’m very thankful for this victory, there are no words to describe how we feel with Fer. We come from three years in the WRC trying to win and nothing happened. This race started with problems since the first day and we had to struggle to push. I didn’t expect to win and even so it was so dramatic. We had such good times and we are so enthusiastic about the future. The team was recommended by Nasser (Al­Attiyah) and to be honest I feel so comfortable where I am now. Besides I want to highlight the good job of Preto and Padilla.” Esp:​
“Ganar acá es cómo ganar en casa, mi navegante local y mucha gente conocida haciendo el aguante.Agradecido con esta victoria, no hay palabras para describir lo que sentimos Fer. Venimos de tres años en el WRC tratando de ganarla y siempre no pasaba nada. Esta carrera empezó con problemas desde el primer día y tuvimos que remar para atacar. No esperaba ganarla y al mismo tiempo no tan trágica. Hicimos muy buenos tiempos y entusiasmados ahora para ver lo que puede llegar a pasar en el futuro. “Gagner ici c’est comme gagner chez moi. Mon copilote est local et il y a beaucoup de proches qui me soutiennent. Je suis très content avec cette victoire. Il n’y a pas de mots pour décrire ce qu’on ressent. Cela fait trois ans qu’on est dans le WRC et qu’on essaie de gagner et rien ne se passait. Cette course a eu des problèmes depuis le premier jour et nous avons dû batailler pour attaquer. Je n’espérais pas gagner. Nous avons fait de bons temps. Nous avons donc de l’enthousiasme pour voir ce qui va venir. L’équipe a été conseillée par Nasser et en fait, je suis à l’aise ici. “I'm very happy with my speed and stage`s times except the road in Tanti in the second loop, without this I think we could win the rally. But this is rally you know… You can't expect everything. After all, I think I did very well and we finally get to be in the podium. The rally in Argentina is very hard, very hight speed. portugal is gonna be rough as well, fast drivers is gonna be there. But I think the clevest driver will win it, not the fastest. I trust my self. Esp:​
“ Estoy muy contento con la velocidad que alcanzamos y con los tiempos de los tramos, salvo por el tramo en Tanti durante la segunda vuelta. De no ser por ese tramo creo que hubiéramos podido ganar el rally. Pero esto es un rally, viste… No podés pensar que todo va a salir bien. Creo que , dentro de todo, me fue bastante bien y finalmente conseguimos estar en el podio. El rally de Argentina es muy difícil, tiene tramos muy rápidos. Portugal va a ser complicado también, va ha haber pilotos rápidos. Pero que va a ganar el piloto más inteligente y no precisamente el más rápido, Me tengo confianza Fra:​
Je suis très content avec notre vitesse et avec les temps des spéciales, surtout pour la spéciale de Tanti dans le deuxième passage. Si on n’avait pas eu cette partie on aurait pu gagner le rallye. Mais c’est un rallye, tu sais… Il ne faut pas penser que tout va bien se passer. Je pense que, malgré tout, ça a été et finalement nous sommes montés au podium. Le rallye d’Argentine est très difficile, il a des spéciales très rapides. Le Portugal va être difficile aussi. Il va y avoir des pilotes rapides, mais celui qui va gagner c’est le plus intelligent et non pas le pilote le plus rapide. “I’m very happy with what we got. We are very close to the top 10. The team has worked very hard to have in perfect conditions the new engine. I think that we finished in a great place. It was a wonderfull week and I was able to enjoy it a lot. Now I will rest a few days to relax and work in the new tests of the engine. The car works really good, if I would had a few more days of tests I think the result would be better”. Esp:​
“Estoy muy contento con todo lo alcanzado muy cerca del top 10. El equipo ha trabajado muy duro para tener en óptimas condiciones el motor nuevo. Creo que terminamos en una muy buena posición. Fue una semana magnifica y lo pude disfrutar bastante. Ahora a descansar unos días para sentar cabeza por la pruebas con este motor. El auto funciona muy bien, si tenía unos días de pruebas más el resultado hubiese sido mejor Fra:​
“Je suis très content avec mes résultats, près des 10 premiers. L’équipe a travaillé très dur afin d’avoir le moteur en bonnes conditions. Je pense avoir terminé en bonne position. C’était une semaine magnifique et j’en pu profiter assez. Maintenant quelques jours de repos afin de bien pouvoir me détendre des essais de ce moteur. La voiture fonctionne très bien.
