Program 2016 RPCU Congress October 19 to 21, 2016, at the Sheraton Laval Hotel The RPCU Congress is an exceptional 3-day learning, training and networking opportunity and an exciting event for the members of the users and in-patients’ committees all across Quebec! Fear of retaliation… the duty to act! The RPCU 2016 Congress will focus on a rarely addressed aspect: Fear of retaliation. What does ‘retaliation’ mean? Is it present in every environment? How do we deal with it? What are the different ways we can counter fear? Committees have the duty to act! Booking Rate Room reservations Special offer Rate is per person. For the 2016 RPCU Congress, each participant has 2 choices to make: •One workshop (A-Training workshops) Thursday morning and continuing in the afternoon •One meeting (B-Brainstorming) Late afternoon on Thursday A – Training workshops Series A Training workshops last 3 hours each and are offered in two parts: 90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon. The first part of the workshop (in the morning) is mainly theoretical, and the second part (in the afternoon) is practice-oriented. Small Continental Breakfasts: pastries, brioches, croissants, fruits and beverages. Attendants: Attendants of disabled persons may attend the entire congress for free. However, they must register in advance by indicating their status as an attendant. Individual interpreters who are accompanying persons with auditory disabilities are considered assistants. Cancellation policy: A $125 fee will be charged on the amount before taxes for all cancellations of registrations made before September 19, 2016; no refund will be granted for cancellations made on or after September 19, 2016. Policy regarding workshop and meeting choices Workshop (A) and meeting (B) choices will be respected according to the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in the room where the workshop, meeting or conference is being held. When that number is reached, a second workshop choice, meeting or conference will be given. The date on which the workshop, meeting and conference selections are received, along with the payment, will be the determining factors. For some workshops and meetings, a minimum of 20 participants is required. A unique networking opportunity!
