Structural and Complementary Measures Z Selection 2004 Summary of the Project (shortlisted only) Partner Country involved: AL Project Number SCM-C001Z04-2004 Acronym and Title FENPBCARDS - Formation équipes nationales promotrices de Bologne en pays CARDS Former des groupes promoteurs de Bologne en pays CARDS susceptibles de diffuser l'information auprès des Specific Objective(s) autres établissements d'Enseignement Supérieur et devenir des groupes "ressources" pour les enseignants et les Ministères ES. Réfléchir à la restructuration de leur cursus en Sciences Biologiques. 1° - Formation de promoteurs de Bologne du consortium en pays CARDS (ALB, BIH, 807, HRV, SCG). - Sessions de formation : A - Structuration formation initiale selon Bologne en deux niveaux d?études (système LMD). - Compatibilité des formations courtes et longues (Bac +5). Cas des filières ingénieurs. - Diplômes délivrés : types de diplômes, lisibilité et place dans le contexte européen. - Le cas des formations diplômantes supplémentaires sera spécialement examiné : structures et modalités de formation appropriées selon public. Types de diplôme délivrés et usage. Aspects matériels (libération du temps, coût). - Difficultés, obstacles d'harmonisation d'ordre institutionnel et matériel. Etat de la mise en place en UE du processus de Bologne, modalités et difficultés. - Situation en pays CARDS (par pays). B - Promotion à la mobilité dans l?espace européen des étudiants en formation et des enseignants, en supprimant les principaux obstacles. - Mobilité étudiante dans les réseaux interuniversitaires : - Rôle et importance des réseaux. - Objectifs et contraintes pédagogiques et institutionnelles de la mobilité. Principes à adopter. - La mise en oeuvre pratique de la mobilité : Output and Outcomes - système ECTS et son usage. Etablissements grilles ECTS (exemples). - les documents d'accompagnement : dossier d'information et contrats d'études, relevé de notes, supplément de diplômes, - rôle d'un bureau de Relations Internationales. - la maîtrise linguistique. - les problèmes matériels (bourse d'études, organisation des échanges). C - Amélioration de l'efficience de formation. - L'assurance-qualité interne et externe : importance, critères, modalités,conséquences. - Définition de la finalité et des objectifs de formation : diversité des concepts en UE et conséquences. - Innovations pédagogiques : objectifs, composantes, diversité, contrôle : - le système modulaire : avantages, inconvénients, - autres innovations incitant une plus grande participation de l'étudiant. - Relations universités-entreprises : enjeux, modalités. 2° - Propositions d'adaptation possible du système actuel de formation en Sciences Biologiques par pays CARDS et possibilité d'accord inter pays. 3° - Diffusion expérimentale information au niveau universitaire et institutionnel à Skopje puis dans chaque pays, sous l'égide du Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur (MES). Structural and Complementary Measures Selection 2004 - Round of February Summary of the Project (shortlisted only) Project Number SCM-C016A04-2004 Acronym and Title REHEA-ECTS - On the road to European Higher Education Area - Implementing ECTS in South Eastern Europe Introducing the European Credit Transfer System along with Bacholor/Master study programmes in line with the Bologna Declaration implies a fundamental change of the existing study programmes and developing completely new ones, in accordance with the new definition, content of particular courses, new one-semester concept, place within an integrated plan of studies. New consideration of previous practice: manner of teaching, assessment, optimal technical conditions, as well as programmes of secondary schools based on which the knowledge necessary for successful mastering of particular subject matters is acquired, represents a very important element in their shaping. Introducing new fields and specialist courses, in accordance with modern trends in education, Specific Objective(s) development of new technologies, realistic current and strategically projected and needs of market in the country and broader is a field of action in which those who develop new programmes and curricula, quite logically, have little or no experience. Conception of mobility, multidisciplinarity, which, under certain conditions implies transition from one to another study programme within one or more universities, also constitutes an important element in shaping new plans and curricula. University of Montenegro, as one of the first universities in the region that started this process will use experiences from the seminar to analyze the effects of initiated reform and creation and implementation of its future phases. CYRIL AND METHODIUS', Skopje (MK) Partner - ARISTOTLE UNIVERSITY OF THESSALONIKI, Thessaloniki (GR) Structural and Complementary Measures Selection 2004 - Round of October Summary of the Project (shortlisted only) Partner Country involved: 1244 Project Number SCM-C003B04-2004 Acronym and Title TUNING - Tuning Educational Structures in Europe-phase III: Validation, Dissemination and Further Development To include new Bologna signatory states in the project "Tuning Educational Structures in Europe- phase III: Validation, Dissemination and Further Development" and thus actively involve HEIs and countries directly in the Specific Objective(s) work done to carry out the Bologna declaration at University level and contribute to the development of one European Higher Education Area. In order of the three major tasks foreseen for phase III (see above) -A Tuning approach validated by stakeholders. -Application and disuof the Tuning methodology and tools to the member institutions from partner countries -Around a total of around 40 additional networks of subject areas in which the Tuning approach (methodology and tools) has been discussed and tested (around 20 networks) and in which the Tuning methodology and tools have been fully implemented (also around 20)- besides the 9 subject areas of Tuning I and II. -Reference points and first and second cycle level descriptors for around 20 additional subject areas which cover broad academic fields. These reference points and cycles will be published in one volume for wider use. In the future it will be required to make regular updates. The publication will be in EN. -A framework for the use of the Tuning approach (methodology and tools) in all kinds of teaching and learning environments. Established links with organisations working in these fields. -Dissemination material for information and implementation (Newsletter, Journal, leaflets etc.). -A well designed website in which it will be easy to find the key documents and the Tuning general and subject-specific level descriptors and reference points for each subject area. -A well established group of experts for information and counselling. Output and Outcomes -One or more training facilities for administrative and academic staff. -A manual or handbook regarding the training of generic and subject-specific approaches in terms of teaching, learning and assessment formats. -A comprehensive model for internal quality enhancement and assurance at faculty / school and subject area / programme level. -Sets of reference points and cycle descriptors on subject specific level on doctorate/PhD-level (third cycle) (as a necessary supplement to the work done by the informal Joint Quality Initiative group). -An approach for quality enhancement and assurance in trans-national programmes, e.g. joint degree programmes. -An operational framework for using the learning outcomes and competence approach in formal recognition and comparison of (parts of) qualification. -8 new partner institutions from new and potential Bologna signatory states. -9 Very active networks on subject area level in which institutions are represented from Bologna and potential Bologna signatory countries. -An international platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge regarding subject areas and programmes. -A final report containing the main outcomes and papersproduced in the project to be distributed widely.
