Full Professor; at Queen's University since 1992 (Tenured in 1995, promoted in
2005). Previously I was at Dalhousie University French Department (1976, 19831992), (tenured and promoted to Associate Professor in 1989) and also at St
Anne’s University (1975).While at Dalhousie I also worked in the Dalhousie cooperative
programme with St Mary’s University School of Education and with colleagues at Mount St

3) Field Liaison Teaching:
Practicum supervision visits constituted a large portion of my teaching including one
hour consultations before a class was observed, a full class observation (60 to 90
minutes), a full feed-back session after class observation for an hour or more. Full
reports were written and given to the students. In addition the Associate Teacher
often took part in the discussion and in many cases I gave In-Service teaching
sessions to the teachers.
