The International Brokerage Show will be held on the French Riviera in Cannes. Cannes is the 2nd most popular city in France after Paris and in perfect adequacy
with the high visitor profile we target. Moreover, the city of Cannes has a strategy of focusing both on the attractiveness of the Mediterranean Sea and the
effectiveness of its harbours and infrastructures. The show will take place at Port Canto, which is scheduled to undergo a huge renovation program to become one of
the most modern and attractive ports for luxury yachting in Europe. The intent is to transform Port Canto into the most attractive marina for luxury yachting in the
Mediterranean Sea, where 80% of worldwide super yachts sail through during the summer season. Most of these boats spend time in the area between Saint-Tropez
(FRA), Portofino (ITA) and Porto Cervo (ITA, Sardegna). Cannes, due to its excellent geographical position, naturally fits in what is known as the golden yachting
triangle . All the most important brokers, including North-American companies, have offices based on the Mediterranean coast between Cannes and Monaco,
because this is where their business takes place. 200 super yachts have been sold all over the world during the summer - at an average of 10M . Compared to the
2010 season, it represents a 50% growth in boat sales, even if the average price has decreased by 15%.
Profil Visiteur / Visitors Profiles
The average price of the product exhibited being around 10M , visitors will have very high purchase power (i.e. mainly HNWI or High-Net-Worth Individuals) from European
countries, Middle East and Asia. The only part of the world that might not be concerned is America since a major boating vent is hosted in Fort Lauderdale every year.
Profil Exposants / Exhibitors Profile :
Mainly yachts and super yachts between 60 and over 200 long. In due time and once the renovation program of the harbour will be completed, we expect to host 250 up to 300
boats. The 1st edition of the show aims at over 100 boats and will also offer services dedicated to the brokerage and superyacht industry such as equipments, insurance and
financial services, crews, etc.
