Les baptêmes ont lieu durant les messes dominicales. Il y a deux
sessions de préparation pour les parents. Veuillez téléphoner au
bureau avant de fixer la date du baptême.

Il faut communiquer avec le prêtre au moins dix (10) mois
d’avance pour les préparations nécessaires.

Objectif-Vie:
Objectif-Vie:
La scène de la Transfiguration se passe sur
une montagne; Jésus prend avec Lui, Pierre,
Jacques et Jean. Sur la haute montagne les
trois disciples sont éblouis par la lumière de
Jésus. Nous voulons entrer dans la lumière de
Jésus et vivre profondément la même
expérience…il faut se mettre en route à la suite
de Jésus.
N’oublions pas que nous sommes dans l’Année
Jubilaire de la Miséricorde. Ceci a débuté le 8
décembre 2015 pour se terminer le 20 novembre 2016.
Cette année est un temps de grâces de Dieu. Nous
pouvons gagner des indulgences en faisant un
pèlerinage aux Basiliques ou en passant par les Portes
Saintes…nous en avons une ici à Merlin,
L’église St. Patrick.
Trois routes à suivre :
N’oublions pas :
1) prendre la route vers les autres pour les
aider, les consoler, les encourager.
2) annoncer la Bonne Nouvelle ~ laisser nos
peurs et avancer vers les autres.
3) suivre Jésus…se donner une ligne de
conduite ~ rester proche du Seigneur 365 jours
par année!!
Les œuvres corporelles : donner à manger aux
affamés, donner à boire à ceux qui ont soif, vêtir ceux
qui sont nus, accueillir les étrangers, assister les
malades et ensevelir les morts.
Les œuvres spirituelles : conseiller ceux qui ont des
doutes, enseigner les ignorants, consoler les affligés,
pardonner les offenses, aider les personnes seules et
prier Dieu pour les vivants et les morts.

Goal for the Week!
The Transfiguration of Jesus! Jesus and three
Apostles: Peter, James and John go to a
mountain to pray. There, bright rays of light
start shining out from Jesus’ body. This miracle
is unique ~ because it happens to Jesus
himself. Still today, God may touch certain
members of the faithful with special
experiences of His grace, strengthening their
faith. Some receive momentary glimpses of the
joy of heaven to sustain them as they face the
challenges of this life. Mass, the Eucharist ~ is
our mountain-top experience which prepares
us for the trials of our day. Let us stay close to
Jesus 365 days a year! He is there to help us,
guide us and direct us in the right direction!
Let us not forget that we are in the Jubilee Year of
Mercy. This will end on November 20th, 2016 on the
Solemnity of Christ the King.
What can we do during this time?
1) Forgive others who have done us wrong.
2) Go to confession regularly.
3) Meditate on the Gospels.
4) Do works of mercy every day.
