G-Link2™ -LXRS® - LORD MicroStrain
LORD PRODUCT DATASHEET G-Link2 -LXRS ™ ® Wireless Accelerometer Node The G-Link2™ -LXRS® Wireless Accelerometer Node features onboard triaxial or external single axis ±1 g to ±200 g MEMS accelerometers in a small, IP67 rated enclosure. The 16-bit G-Link2 streamlines vibration/acceleration measurement and monitoring in remote deployments. The node can simultaneously log data to internal memory and/or transmit realtime data to a host computer at user programmable data rates. Node Commander® software supports configuration of the wireless node including discovery, initialization, radio frequency, sample rate, reading/ writing to node EEPROM, calibrating node sensors, managing node batteries including sleep, wake, and cycle power, and upgrading node firmware. The G-Link2™ is compatible with any WSDA®- Base, WSDA®-1000 or SensorCloud™. Features & Benefits System Overview Wireless Simplicity, Hardwired Reliability • Small, lightweight IP67 enclosure At the heart of LORD MicroStrain® LXRS® (Lossless Data Wireless Sensor Networks) are WSDA® gateways, which use our exclusive beaconing protocols to synchronize precision timekeepers within each sensor node in the network. The WSDA® also coordinates data collection from all sensor nodes. Users can easily program each node on the scalable network for simultaneous, periodic, burst, or data logging mode sampling with our Node Commander® software, which automatically configures radio communication to maximize the aggregate sample rate. Optional SensorCloud™ enabled wireless sensor data aggregators support autonomous web-based data visualization, alerts, and reports. • High resolution data with 16-bit A/D converter • User programmable filters for optimized anti-aliasing • Synchronized acceleration data with wireless sensors • SensorCloud remote vibration monitoring systems Ease of Integration • Rapidly deployable wireless form factor • Simple integration supported by comprehensive SDK Cost Effective • Reduced time to market for customer applications • Aggressive volume discount schedule Applications • Tilt and Inclination Testing • Vibration Monitoring • Condition-Based Monitoring of Machines • Health Monitoring of Aircraft, Structures and Vehicles • Product Testing LORD MicroStrain ® SENSING SYSTEMS G-Link2™ -LXRS® Wireless Accelerometer Node Specifications Input channels G-Link2 Node on-board triaxial MEMS accelerometer and internal temperature sensor, or external s ingle channel MEMS accelerometer and 1 internal temperature sensor Standard accelerometer options ±2 g or ±10 g with >100 Hz Bandwidth @ -3 dB Custom accelerometer options ±5 g, ±30 g, ±50 g, ±100 g, or ±200 g Temperature sensor -40 °C to 125 °C range, typical accuracy ±5 °C over full range Anti-aliasing filter 5th order lowpass butterworth filter Digital user programmable bandwidth from 26Hz-50kHz Resolution ±2 g 70.1 µg/bit; ±10 g 351 µg/bit; ±50 g 1750 µg/bit Analog to digital converter 16-bit resolution Data storage capacity 4 megabytes (approximately 2,000,000 data points) Sampling modes Synchronized, Armed Datalogging, Streaming, Low Duty Cycle Continuous synchronized sampling 32 Hz to 512 Hz Burst synchronized sampling 1 channel: 256 Hz-60 Hz; 2 channels: 256 Hz-40 kHz; 3 channels: 256 Hz-30 kHz Synchonized sampling mode network capacity 1 Channe l: 512 Hz, 3 Nodes, 256 Hz, 15 Nodes, 128 Hz, 31 Nodes, 64 Hz, 63 Nodes Synchronization between nodes ±32µS with 10 second beacon interval Synchronization rate stability ±3 ppm Armed datalogging sample rates 1 channel: 32Hz-60kHz max; 2 channels: 32Hz-40kHz max; 3 channels: 32Hz-30kHz max Streaming sample rates 1 Channel: 860 Hz; 2 Channel: 816 Hz; 3 Channel: 775 Hz Low duty cycle sample rates 512 Hz to 1 sample per 60 minutes Sensor event driven trigger available in LDC and Synchronized Sampling modes - Commence transmitting data or datalogging when threshold exceeded with capability to report specified amount of pre- and post- event data Radio frequency (RF) transceiver carrier 2.4 GHz direct sequence spread spectrum, license free worldwide (2.405 to 2.470 GHz) – 14 channels, radiated power programmable from 0 dBm (1 mW) to 16 dBm (39 mW); European models limited to 10 dBm (10 mW) RF data packet standard IEEE 802.15.4, open communication architecture RF data downloading 16 minutes to download full memory Range for bi-directional RF lin programmable communication range from 70 m to 2 km Status LEDs powered On/Off, Node Activity Power internal AA 3.6 V 2.6 Ah replaceable lithium battery or external DC 2.2-5 V input Power Consumption average current is 20.1 mA with 1 Channel and 34.9 mA with 3 Channels Operating temperature -20 to 85 °C Maximum acceleration limit 200 g Dimensions 68 mm x 85 mm x 33.5 mm including mounting tabs Weight Inte rnal Triax Config. 178 g with battery Enclosure material aluminum and clear polycarbonate ROHS compliant Compatible base stations all WSDA®-Base and WSDA®-1000 Software Node Commander® Windows XP/Vista/7 compatible Software development kit (SDK) includes data communications protocol, EEPROM maps and sample code (OS and computing platform independent) FCC ID XJQMSLINK0002 IC ID 8505A-MSLINK0002 3 Channe l: 256 Hz, 3 Nodes, 128 Hz, 7 Nodes, 64 Hz, 15 Nodes internal temp C EEPROM sensor cal. coeff., filter parameters, 16 bit ID microprocessor w/ embedded software algorithms ADC accelerometer X accelerometer Y accelerometer Z 2 MBytes Flash Memory Optional Internal RTC 2.4 GHz RF transceiver accelerometer Z Optional External 2.36 2.86 2.36 .18 3.4 .15 .25 .80 2.56 1.32 .72 .18 .37 .39 .35 2.68 3.20 External Accelerometer Assembly External Single Axis Config. 252 g with battery & cable Copyright © 2014 LORD Corporation IEPE-Link™, Torque-Link™, 3DM-RQ1™, Strain Wizard®, DEMOD-DC®, DVRT®, DVRT-Link™, WSDA®, HS-Link®, TCLink®, G-Link®, V-Link®, SG-Link®, ENV-Link™, Watt-Link™, Shock-Link™, SHM-Link™, LXRS®, Node Commander®, SensorCloud™, Live Connect™, MathEngine®, EH-Link®, 3DM®, FAS-A®, 3DM-GX1®, 3DM-GX3®, 3DM-GX4™, 3DMDH®, 3DM-DH3™, EmbedSense®, MicroStrain®, and Little Sensors, Big Ideas® are trademarks of LORD Corporation. 8400-0012 rev 001 Specifications are subject to change without notice. 1.00b LORD Corporation MicroStrain® Sensing Systems 459 Hurricane Lane, Suite 102 Williston, VT 05495 USA www.microstrain.com ph: 800-449-3878 fax: 802-863-4093 [email protected] [email protected]
