Vorsicht beim Auspacken! Die Uhr beim Herausnehmen aus der Verpackung bitte nicht
an den Schnitzereien sondern am Dach anfassen.
Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Punkte sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie die Uhr in Betrieb
nehmen:
1 – Stellen Sie die Uhrzeiger auf 12 Uhr.
2 – Den Schalter auf der linken Seite der Uhr auf »Music OFF« stellen.
3 – Die Rückwand öffnen und zwei (bei Musikuhren drei) Alkali-Mangan-Babyzellen
einsetzen. Bitte auf die Polarität (+ und –) achten.
4 – Die Rückwand wieder schließen, den Pendelarm am Uhrwerk zur Mitte hin aus
seiner seitlichen Arretierung ziehen, die Uhr an der vorgesehenen Wand aufhängen
und das Pendel einhaken.
5 – Den Minutenzeiger im Uhrzeigersinn auf die nächste volle Stunde drehen und die
Anzahl der Kuckuckrufe mitzählen.
6 – Sollte die angezeigte Stunde nicht mit dem Kuckuckruf übereinstimmen, gehen Sie
wie folgt vor:
Wenn der Kuckuck z.B. zweimal ruft, drehen Sie nur den Stundenzeiger auf die »II«.
Wenn der Kuckuck z.B. neunmal ruft, drehen Sie nur den Stundenzeiger auf die »IX«.
7 – Den Minutenzeiger nun im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis die aktuelle Tageszeit erreicht
ist. Dabei die stündlichen Kuckuckrufe jeweils abwarten.
8 – Diese Uhr hat eine automatische Nachtabschaltung von 21:01 bis 6 Uhr. Sollte
diese Abschaltung tagsüber aktiviert sein, müssen die Zeiger um volle 12 Stunden im
Uhrzeigersinn weitergedreht werden.
9 – Mit dem Schalter auf der linken Seite der Uhr kann die Musik ein- und ausgeschaltet werden (Music ON/Music OFF). In der Stellung OFF sind sowohl Kuckuck als auch
Musik ausgeschaltet.
10 – Wenn die Vogeltür sich nicht mehr öffnet oder schließt, oder wenn die Uhr zu
langsam läuft, müssen die Batterien ersetzt werden.

Carefully unpack the clock. Please do not lift the clock by its carvings but by its roof.
Please read the following carefully before handling your clock.
1 – Turn the minute hand clockwise until both hands point to »XII«.
2 – Set the switch on the left-hand side of the clock to »Music OFF«.
3 – Open the back cover and insert two (for clocks with music three) alkali type »C«
batteries into the battery boxes. Please watch the polarity (+/–).
4 – Close the back cover, pull the pendulum arm from its clip toward the centre, place
the clock on a wall and attach the pendulum to the pendulum arm.
5 – Turn the minute hand clockwise to release a full hour chime. Count the number of
cuckoo calls.
6 – Should the time indicated not correspond with the number of cuckoo calls, please
proceed as follows:
Should, e.g., the cuckoo call twice, turn the hour hand on its shaft to »II«.
Should, e.g., the cuckoo call nine times, turn the hour hand on its shaft to »IX«.
7 – Set the time of day by turning the minute hand in a clockwise direction. Make sure
to always wait for the full hour call.
8 – This clock has an automatic night silencing feature between 9:01 PM and 6 AM. If
this feature is active during the day, the hands have to be turned forward a full
12 hours.
9 – The music can be turned on and off with the switch on the left side of the clock
case. In position »OFF«, both music and cuckoo are switched off.
10 – The batteries must be replaced if the bird's door no longer opens or closes or if
the clock movement slows down.

pour coucou à quartz
Déballez soigneusement la pendule, évitez de la saisir par les parties en bois sculpté
mais par le toit.
Veuillez lire attentivement les points suivants avant la mise en marche du coucou :
1 – Positionnez les aiguilles sur 12 heures.
2 – Mettez l’interrupteur, à gauche de la pendule, sur « Music OFF ».
3 – Ouvrez l’emplacement pour piles au dos de la pendule et insérez deux piles alcaline
au manganèse (trois pour le pendules musicales). Attention aux pôles (+ et –).
4 – Refermez le couvercle et tirez le balancier du mouvement vers le milieu, jusqu’à
l’arrêt latéral. Suspendez le coucou et crochez le pendule.
5 – Tournez l’aiguille des minutes dans le sens horaire, jusqu’à l’heure pleine suivante,
comptez le nombre de coups de sonnerie-coucou.
6 – Si l’heure indiquée ne correspond pas aux nombres de coups de sonnerie,
poursuivez comme suit: si le coucou chante p. ex. deux fois, tournez l’aiguille des
heures manuellement sur « II ».
Si le coucou chante p. ex. neuf fois, tournez l’aiguille des heures manuellement sur « IX ».
7 – Maintenant, tournez l’aiguille des minutes dans le sens horaire, jusqu’à l’heure
exacte. Ecoutez attentivement le nombre de coups de sonnerie (chant du coucou).
8 – Ce coucou est équipé d’un arrêt de nuit automatique, actif entre 21:01 à 6 heures.
Par contre, si cet arrêt est actif pendant la journée, les aiguilles doivent être avancées
de 12 heures pleines.
9 – L’interrupteur, à gauche de la pendule, permet d’enclencher et de déclencher la
musique (Music ON/Music OFF). En position OFF, le coucou et la musique sont enclenchés.
10 – Changez les piles dès que la porte ne s’ouvre ou ne se ferme plus ou si la pendule
avance lentement.
