Occupations in Demand in the Nord-du-Québec 1st semester of 2015 Focusing on occupations in demand Job offers are the sole source of information used to build the list of occupations in demand*. These job offers for the Nord-du-Québec region are taken from the Online Placement service accessible through emploiquebec.gouv.qc.ca and from newspapers. Occupations in demand may be related to seasonality or hight labour turnover. Building a list of occupations in demand improves our employability measures by analyzing the short-term needs of the labour market in the region. By providing a semiannual overview of job prospects, Emploi-Québec gives businesses the opportunity to fill their vacant positions as soon as possible.
