• first send, then print (7 days on Watchdoc server)
• 10 printers, 4 places
• 4.5 millions pages in 2007 (+100% each year since
2003)
• +9’200 users (11’000 students)

PrintUNIL : the future
• to be able to handle an “on demand” production of
course materials
• “services centers” (one per quarter)
• human support (supply, help, basic support,...)
• basic “self-bookbinding”
• two-sides printing, color (higher price)
• follow me, “pay per tic” => new campus card
• public access computers and space for laptops
• synergy with the central reprography
• laptop access (UNIL web-portal)
