What : Join the ultimate football face off ‘Play for the Union’ project and share
your story. 22players, 22 stories, 22 countries, 2 football legends NWANKWO KANU
& PATRICK MBOMA . Successful applicants will receive an opportunity to speak to
the whole of Africa, be coached by two of Africa’s football legends and attend the
June 2012 AU Summit in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Where : The 22 countries of
the 22 players across Africa. Follow their
stories and challenges as they make their way to the Unity Match at the
end of June 2012, Lilongwe, Malawi at the African Union Summit.
Why : Promote pan-Africanism, speak and act for unity, democracy, prosperity
and justice in Africa.
Who : The State of the Union (SOTU) a coalition of organisations,
creates a platform for national governments, civil society organisations and
the African Union to deliver on the promises of an integrated, prosperous
and peaceful Africa. SOTU’s mission is to work towards citizen
participation in the African Union.

‘Play for the Union’ et partager votre histoire avec le continent entier. ‘Play for
the Union’ c’est 22 joueurs africains, 22 pays africains, 22 histoires , 2 grandes légendes
du football africain en guise d’entraîneurs: NWANKWO KANU
et PATRICK MBOMA et une chance d’assistez au Sommet de L’Union
Africaine en juin 2012 à Lilongwe en Malawi.
Où : ‘Play for the Union’ vous invite à suivre les histoires et les défis auxquels les
22 joueurs issus de 22 pays africains font face et doivent surmonter en tant qu’africain.
La campagne soutiendra leur cause jusqu’au tournoi qui aura lieu
en juin 2012 au Malawi pendant le sommet de l’Union Africaine.

Promouvoir le panafricanisme, s’exprimer et agir pour l’unité, la
démocratie, la prospérité et la justice en Afrique.
Qui : State of the Union (SOTU) est une coalition d'organisations africaines qui crée une
plateforme d’échange entre les gouvernements nationaux, les organisations de la société civile
et l'Union africaine. SOTU a pour objectif principal d’amener les citoyens à s’impliquer dans
les prises de décisions de l’Union Africaine et de pousser les gouvernements nationaux et
l’Union Africaine à tenir leurs promesses d’intégration, d’une Afrique prospère et pacifique.
