REGARDING the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act,
2006, S.C. 2006, c.29 (the “Act”), in particular sections 2, 9, and 35.
AND REGARDING 1768293 Ontario Inc., Swam Dhaliwal, Parbatee Kissoon
COMPLIANCE ORDER
On May 31, 2010, the Superintendent of Financial Services issued a notice of
proposal to make a permanent compliance order against 1768293 Ontario Inc., and
its directors, Swam Dhaliwal and Parbatee Kissoon (collectively referred to as “the
company”).
The company requested a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal. The
Superintendent and the company have entered into Minutes of Settlement to resolve
the matter and the company has withdrawn its request for a hearing.
ORDER
1768293 Ontario Inc., Swam Dhaliwal, and Parbatee Kissoon shall immediately
cease carrying on business as a mortgage lender in Ontario, or holding
themselves out as doing so.
