Setting the
We feature a great choice of properties, all of which are
inspected prior to inclusion.
Here are some of the things our inspectors look for when they visit:
As a quick guide we expect all our properties to meet
the following criteria:
All properties must be ready to let, and conform with French health and
safety regulations, as must private swimming pools.
All appliances and fittings need to reach EU safety standards, including
electric and gas installations and fireplaces.
Public liability insurance is essential – your insurance company will have
details.
A local caretaker must be available to welcome clients, collect the
breakage deposit, for cleaning and maintenance (including grounds and
pools), and to be on hand in the event of problems.
Your property must have attractive décor throughout, quality, tasteful
furnishings and lighting, curtains, blinds or shutters at all windows plus
good flooring (including bedside rugs if there is no bedroom carpeting).
Heating needs to be compatible with the location and period of letting.
There must be at least one bath/shower room with hot running water,
and one wc.
Kitchen – We check that the kitchen size
