In 2013 OAK Racing concentrated its ac=vi=es in LM P2, the preferred category for private teams, and met with great success. The French ou[it entered three Morgan-­‐Nissan LM P2 in the FIA World Endurance Championship, and under the name of OAK Racing Team Total a Morgan-­‐Judd LM P2 in the Asian Le Mans Series, the championship organised in Asia by the ACO, Automobile Club de l’Ouest. This involvement was a triumph for the team as OAK Racing clinched all the =tles: Ÿ In the FIA World Endurance Championship: -­‐ FIA LM P2 Endurance Trophy : double teams and drivers, -­‐ Double in the LM P2 category in the Le Mans 24 Hours Ÿ  In the Asian Le Mans Series: -­‐ Teams’ and drivers’ Rtles This year OAK Racing competes in the new-­‐for-­‐2014 American Series, the Tudor United SportsCar Championship, the result of the merger between Grand-­‐Am and the American Le Mans Series. However, it is not the team’s first foray to the United States. En 2013, OAK Racing s’est concentrée avec succès sur la catégorie LM P2, domaine de prédilec?on des teams privés. L’équipe sarthoise a engagé trois Morgan-­‐Nissan LM P2 en Championnat du Monde FIA d’Endurance et, sous le nom OAK Racing Team Total, une Morgan-­‐Judd LM P2 en Asian Le Mans Series, la série mise en place en Asie par l’ACO, Automobile Club de l’Ouest. L’équipe n’en est pas à sa première aventure aux Etats-­‐Unis. Elle a par le passé traversé l’Atlan?que plusieurs fois pour différentes par?cipa?ons couronnées par plusieurs podiums: -­‐ 2012 : FIA WEC, 12 Heures de Sebring et ELMS, Pe?t Le Mans -­‐ 2011 : ILMC, 12 Heures de Sebring et Pe?t Le Mans -­‐ 2010 : ILMC, Pe?t Le Mans à Road Atlanta (vainqueur LM P2) 4 Onroak AutomoRve, constructor of the Morgan LM P2 and the Ligier JS P2 The Onroak Automo=ve teams, originally the design office and the internal department of OAK Racing, can count on their experience and working know-­‐how in two domains: that of the race team and that of constructor. The design office was created in 2010, and it developed quickly to become in 2012 a constructor department in its own right called Onroak Automo=ve that produced the Morgan LM P2 in which OAK Racing has triumphed all over the world. The =tles clinched in 2013 in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours in the LM P2 category drivers’ and teams’ classifica=ons are its crowning achievements so far. Thanks to this in-­‐depth experience Onroak Automo=ve has become a company devoted to building racing cars, and its ambi=on is to develop a complete range of sports prototypes from CN to LM P1. With this aim in mind a rapprochement has taken place with one of the great names in motor sport, Ligier. Today the new Ligier JS P2 designed and built by Onroak Automo=ve has been added to the catalogue with the same objec=ves of performance and reliability as the Morgan LM P2. Onroak Automo=ve also sells a CN sports prototype, the Ligier JS 53 EVO. Thus, in 2014 Onroak Automo=ve is present in all the main endurance series with several teams. In the Le Mans 24 Hours the Sarthe constructor will have a major presence with no fewer than seven cars on the grid: three Ligier JS P2s and four Morgan LM P2s! 5 Onroak AutomoQve, constructeur de la Morgan LM P2 et de la Ligier JS P2 Ini?alement Bureau d’Etudes puis département interne de OAK Racing, les équipes de Onroak Automo?ve peuvent s’appuyer sur leur double expérience, leur connaissance des deux mé?ers : celui d’équipe de course et celui de constructeur. Créé en 2010, le Bureau d’Etudes s’est rapidement développé pour donner naissance en 2012 à un véritable département constructeur, Onroak Automo?ve, et à la Morgan LM P2 que OAK Racing a fait triompher à travers le monde : les ?tres décrochés en 2013 dans le Championnat du Monde FIA d’Endurance et aux 24 Heures du Mans, en catégorie LM P2 Pilotes et Teams, en sont la consécra?on. Grâce à ceYe solide expérience, Onroak Automo?ve est devenue une entreprise dévolue à la construc?on de voitures de course dont l’ambi?on est le développement d’une gamme complète de sport-­‐prototypes, du CN à la LM P1. Dans ceYe op?que est né un rapprochement avec un nom légendaire du sport automobile : la marque Ligier. Aujourd’hui, conçue et réalisée par Onroak Automo?ve, la Ligier JS P2 vient compléter le catalogue, avec les mêmes objec?fs de performance et de fiabilité que la Morgan LM P2. Onroak Automo?ve propose également un sport-­‐prototype CN, la Ligier JS 53 EVO. En 2014, Onroak Automo?ve est donc présent dans toutes les principales séries d’endurance, auprès de nombreuses écuries. This closed LM P2 sports prototype is the result of several months of studies and hard work because Onroak Automo=ve was determined to offer a product that had been fine-­‐
tuned down to the =niest detail. The three engines currently on offer, the Honda HPD, the Judd HK and the Nissan VK45, can all be installed in the car’s engine bay and its closed monocoque reinforces the level of safety. Aqer the success of the Morgan LM P2, the Ligier JS P2 has the same aims in terms of performance and reliability. Its performance made a big impression on its first ou=ng, the Le Mans 24 Hours, in which three cars were entered powered by Nissan and HPD engines. It is called the JS P2 in respect of the history of the make and is a way of nurturing the future of Onroak Automo=ve from Ligier’s glorious spor=ng past. This LM P2 sport-­‐prototype is des=ned to write new chapters in the history of Ligier in endurance and today it is show-­‐casing Onroak Automo=ve’s know-­‐how. Ce sport-­‐prototype LM P2 fermé est l’abou?ssement de nombreux mois d’étude et de travail et Onroak Automo?ve avait à coeur de proposer un produit abou? dans les moindres détails. Il peut accueillir les trois motorisa?ons proposées, Honda HPD, Judd HK et Nissan VK45, et sa coque fermée est un atout supplémentaire en terme de sécurité. Après le succès de la Morgan LM P2, la Ligier JS P2 a les mêmes objec?fs de performance et de fiabilité. Ses performances ont été très remarquées lors de sa première par?cipa?on aux 24 Heures du Mans où trois châssis ont été engagés, avec des moteurs Nissan et HPD. Elle porte le nom de JS P2, dans le pur respect de l’histoire de la marque, une façon de nourrir l’avenir de Onroak Automo?ve du glorieux passé spor?f de Ligier. Ce sport-­‐prototype LM P2, des?né à écrire les nouvelles pages de l’histoire Ligier en endurance, est aujourd’hui la vitrine du savoir-­‐faire Onroak Automo?ve.
