Un plan d’action pour le scoutisme canadien

Nous voudrions
vous remercier,
On behalf of the Chief
Commissioner’s Task Force on
Growth, we want to thank you
for affirming our Action Plan for
Canadian Scouting. The plan is
built on five key themes:
o Making it Easier for New
and Current Volunteers;
o Enhancing Our Image;
o Enhancing Organizational
Capacity;
o Real Youth Involvement;
and
o Recruiting New Members
and Finding New
Volunteers.
The response to our plan
has been overwhelmingly positive. You’ve shared your ideas
and enthusiasm. And you’ve
convinced us that we will indeed succeed — with your support and your continued input,
we will create a better world
— led by a stronger, revitalized
and greater Scouts Canada.
Immediate Priorities
Our Task Force came together
in Ottawa from July 3rd – 5th to
reaffirm the plan, focus our energy, build consensus on priorities, identify necessary resources,
and champion the work ahead.
The meeting was a resounding
affirmation of our intention to
think big, and act boldly. And
we’re moving ahead fast.
The following are the key
action items we believe need to
be started immediately and/or
accomplished by the end of 2009.

repose sur cinq grands thèmes :

les nouveaux bénévoles;

La réponse à notre plan a été
extraordinairement positive. Vous
avez partagé vos idées et votre
enthousiasme. Bref, vous nous avez
convaincus que nous réussirons
avec votre appui et votre constante
contribution à créer un monde
meilleur guidé par un Scouts Canada
revitalisé, plus fort et plus grand.
Priorités immédiates
Notre groupe de travail s’est
réuni à Ottawa du 3 au 5 juillet
pour réaffirmer le plan, centrer nos
énergies, obtenir le consensus sur les
priorités, définir les ressources nécessaires et valoriser le travail à venir.
La réunion a été une réaffirmation
retentissante de notre intention de
penser grand et d’agir avec assurance. Et nous avançons vite.

devoir amorcer immédiatement ou
mener à terme d’ici la fin 2009.
