General Guidelines
1. Make sure your pet can get water on demand. Check operation by pushing the stainless steel balls once
or twice daily to be sure they are moving freely so water can flow through the tube.
2. Check to be sure there is no debris in the tube. Wipe the inside of the tube with a cotton swab to remove
bits of grain or bedding. Debris prevents the stainless steel ball from sealing properly and causing a leak.
3. Be sure the cap is tightly screwed onto the bottle and is not cross-threaded. A crooked or loose cap can
allow air to enter, causing non-stop dripping.
4. The water bottle helps keep your pets healthy, happy by providing a clean source of drinking water without the spilled water dishes, water fouled by debris or splashed water.
5. For optimal performance, refill your water bottle when half-empty. This will not only maintain the vacuum,
but the fresh water encourages pets to drink more.
