Compact sweeper Hako-Citymaster 1200
The Hako-Citymaster 1200 has been tailor-made to meet the high
demands set for the professional cleaning of streets and footpaths.
As a compact sweeper it also ensures thorough cleanliness there
where space is sometimes restricted. At the same time the machine
concept guarantees the operator the highest possible efficiency and

things, to the powerful vacuum blower. Together with the two
hydraulically driven 90cm large plate brushes giving a sweeping
width of up to 227 cm, it ensures thorough cleanliness in pedestrian
zones, on cycle paths and footpaths as well as open spaces. The
water spraying device, which can provide exact dosage, at the
same time effectively prevents dust formation; the large dirt hopper
with a capacity of approx. 1 m³ is also sufficient for longer periods of
operation. Brush revolutions and working width can be adjusted
comfortably from the cab. Also the robust suction mouth, made of
steel, can easily be lifted hydraulically from the driver’s seat.
The powerful 35.4 kW (48 hp) diesel engine in the Hako-Citymaster
1200 transfers its power onto the streets via four-wheel drive using
four wheel motors. The articulated steering with its large steering
lock together with the compact construction guarantee a high
degree of manoeuvrability. Important for professional street
cleaning: thanks to pendulum compensation of the damped
articulated steering, the sweeper can also climb kerbs effortlessly.
For environmentally friendly use the Hako-Citymaster 1200 is
equipped with an exhaust air fine dust binding system. As an option
exhaust fumes can be cleaned via a soot particle filter.

Cleaning around the clock – thanks to the option of a noise
insulation package, it is even possible to use the Hako-Citymaster
1200 in sensitive areas during the night. In certain areas the levels
attained by the machine fall considerably below the limits according
to German Noise Prevention Regulations (32. BlmSchV, § 7 and
following). Even with its basic equipment the compact sweeper has
an effective and quiet exhaust emission system.
The comfortable cab protects the driver from dust and noise when
any type of work is being carried out. The low front windscreen
enables and excellent view of the brushes. Equipped with an air
sprung, adjustable comfort seat, which can be adjusted to the
driver’s weight and with operating switches, which are in direct view
and reach, the Citymaster 1200 offers and ergonomic workplace,
even during long working days. The powerful heating, heat shielded
glazing, sliding windows in the doorframes and an air conditioning
system, available as an option, ensure a pleasant inside
temperature no matter what the weather.
For even greater economy the Citymaster 1200 can be offered as
a multi-function version: here the compact sweeper is supplied with
a factory-fitted multi-function package, with which the sweeper can
be used for snow removal, gritting or lawn mowing. Dirt hopper and
brush unit are easily removed for this purpose and replaced by
various attachments. Amongst other things the package consists of
a differential lock, loading platform and gritter drive as well as front
coupling triangle. An exchange / swap body system with support
legs for dirt hopper and sweeper unit ensure that the machine can
be converted without problem. The following attachments are
available: main brooms, sprung flap snow ploughs, cylindrical and
combined gritters as well as various types of front mounted mowers.
